Name: Alison Crestmere
With the recent discovery of her mutant ability to control lava, Alison Crestmere is a teenager who's been thrown into the turbulent world of humans vs. mutants. To add to Alison's troubles, testing in the Danger Room has revealed that she is extremely powerful - perhaps even the equal of Jean Grey's malevolent alter ego 'The Phoenix'.
It was fortunate the X-Men were able to rescue Miss Crestmere from the Brotherhood in New York City. If Mystique had been able to convince Alison to join their ranks, the outcome would have been disastrous. With her help, the Brotherhood could have easily sparked a war that would pit mutants against humans in an all out struggle for survival.
