Deadpool
Wade's Wilson's life took a turn when he was diagnosed with cancer. The mercenary
who had faced every challenge was now fighting against a killer inside his own
body. Desperate for a cure, he left the woman he loved to join the Weapon X project.
Weapon X was trying to re-create Wolverine's healing ability, and lied to Wade
about curing his cancer to get his cooperation.
The project was considered a failure. Wade's natural healing had been increased dramatically, but he was horribly disfigured. With
nothing left to lose, he covered his face and became the mercenary known as Deadpool. His extensive knowledege of weapons and hand-to-hand combat are quite dangerous. When coupled with his increased healing, he's not someone you want to meet in a dark alley.
