Wolverine is a mutant who was born with a natural Healing Factor. This allows him to fully recover from injuries that would otherwise be lethal. He also was born with retractable claws that are part of his skeleton. His skeleton was combined with adamantium making his bones nearly indestructible. He also has enhanced senses, such as hearing, sight, and smell.
