Dart's Awakening...
It begins...
Dart awoke in a daze, only to find that he had slept in. He got dressed to look
his best for Shana. He grabbed his father's emblem that he cherrished and headed
out the door.
He ran through the streets of Seles heading for the forest that he and Shana had
onced played in. As the thought of being late for his meeting with Shana, Dart
ran faster.
As he stumbled into the face of the mountain that he and Shara always met, he
began to notice that Shana was nowhere to be found.
Thoughts of horror ran through Dart's head, Was Shana hurt, or lost? With that
thought Dart began searching the forest for traces of her. Cutting through the
brush Dart found the path back to Seles. As he walked head down, he realized that
someone was coming down the path.
He was almost run over by the troops sent with Frugel. They asked Dart some questions
and by getting no answers, they drew their weapons.
Dart drew his broadsword, well ready for the fight. He began to focus on the rumbeling
noise coming his way. To Dart it sounded as if the forest was falling around him.
With a great roar the great dragon Feyrbrand burst onto the scene. Dart a bit
fearfull, began to run as well as the soldiers.
It seemed to Dart that no matter how fast he ran he couldn't escape the angered
creature. Dart lost his footing as an arm pulled him behind a rock,
Dart was petrified by what was going on. He looked up to see a mysterios woman
watching where Dart came from. "Who are you?" Dart asked.
"Shut up if you wish to live." said the woman.
Feyrbrand ran to the humans location and started bashing the clif beside it. The
ground shook like it did many years ago in the Dragon Campaign. In a loud grumble,
Feyrbrand went crashing through the forest.
After Dart cought his breath, he caught a whiff of smoke.
He looked to the North to see smoke rising.
Dart took off in a flash.
"Where are you going?" asked the woman.
"Seles is my village!" Dart replied.
The woman noticed that the jewel she wore war glowing. She thought that she should
watch this boy.
Dart was running to fast with worry in his soul to notice that his emblem was
too glowing.
Revenge and Rescue...
Dart hopped a fence to find that one of the villagers was being attacked by soldiers.He
drew his sword in anger and then took the defensive because he noticed the captain
in the shadows.
With skill and some luck Dart came out the victor with minor injuries. Dart ran
to the villager to see if he was alright.
The old man told Dart that the soldiers have taken Shana to Frugel's prison. As
he spoke the last word his ehes shut and his heart gave out. Dart knealing let
out a single tear for his fallen friend. Dart looked up from his friend to see
the path to his home. Dart gripped his sword firmly and began running towards
home.
As he ran through the gates he yelled "MASTER!!"
He got no reply. From the corner of Dart's eye came a general walking out of the
door.
"You boy!" the general shouted.
"I need some information."
Dart raised his sword with a slight smile on his face. In his mind came the words
"Bring it on"
With a flash and a whoop the general let his arrow fly. Dart knocked it away.
With great force and hate Dart sped toward the general who was re knocking his
bow. He used the skill he learned from the master who raised him.
"DOUBLE SLASH!!" yelled Dart as his blade pierced the generals armor.
With a scream and a moan, the general was down. Immediatly Dart ran into his masters
room to find himlying against the wall.
"I am alright Dart, go... find Shana!"
With that Dart was off headed for the prison....
