of
Dragoon.

"Dianna? Dianna are you there?" The tall grass shook. A young, silk raven
haired boy came out of the tall grass. He was little and climbed on a bolder
to look above the grass. "Diaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaana!" The little boy made a frown
and and scratched his chin. Then he saw a figure, running. "Dianna?" The
figure came to focus and closer. "Dianna!"

Dianna was being chased by wolves. Faster she ran, trying to reach her
brother, Puma, before the wolves. "Puma, run!"

It didn't get through his head as fast as she ran. He stood there, frozen in
terror by the wolves eye's and speed. "Puma!! Get the hell out of here!" She
called from afar.

Puma woke up and jumped from the boulder and ran ahead of Dianna. He looked
back at his sister who was getting tired. Puma ran faster and soon stopped
at a huge willow tree. Since there were holes in the tree, he climbed on the
tree to get away from the wolves. Dianna soon caught up with her brother and
the wolves soon caught up with Dianna as well. "Dianna! Up here!"

Dianna jumped and climbed the tree, while the wolves growled and bite in the
air. After Dianna and Puma were both to far up for the wolves, the wolves
left for something else to prey on.

"Are you alright, Puma?"

"Yes, I am. What happened? Why'd you leave me?"

"Because I was looking for the nearest village. Then I...well the wolves saw
me and I had to run."

"Did you find a village? I'm really tired."

"Yeah. I think it's Seles. I saw that it wasn't a ghost town...well ghost
village. Um lets wait here for a while."

"But I'm tired and my feet hurt."

"Mine do too, Puma. That's why we're waiting. And the wolves might still be
around."

"Ohh well." *sigh*

The next morning Dianna and Puma woke up to the sound of swords clashing.
They quietly climbed down the tree and tipped-toed toward the swords were
coming from. A man, with red armor and a boy with red armor were fighting.
Dianna walked out of the bushes, she and Puma were hiding in. "Excuse me?"

The man in red armor turned around. He stared and the boy in red armor did
as well. You can tell they were both father and son. The same color armor,
same hair style but the son had brown hair, and same expression on their
face. "Are you lost, ma'm?"

Dianna walked forward, "Well no, but I was wondering, are you from a nearby
town?"

"Yes, I am. So is my son. It's named Seles and it's not far. Just go that
way and you'll find it." He pointed to his left and looked back.

"Thank you. Come on Puma." Puma came out of the bushes. The little boy in
armor smiled.
"I'm Zeek! There aren't that many kids my age in the town. But you can
always play with me!"

"Okay! Are you guys coming with us?" Puma's eyes lit up. Zeek and Puma ran
off to Seles ahead. Dianna and the man in red armor followed. "Hey Zeek,
wait up!" Zeek's father was calling.

"So what's your name? I'm Dianna."

"I'm Dart. So where are you two from?"

"No where. We just travel around the world."

When Dianna and Puma reached, Seles they were relieved to be in a town, with
food, and an INN. Dianna, went straight to the INN, to check in, for Puma
and herself. Puma, Zeek, and Dart went to their house. "Shana, I'm home!"

"Oh! So how was training?" A woman with brown hair, dressed in white walked
in the little room. She greeted Puma with a smile, "So whose your friend?"

"I'm Puma! My sister, Dianna is with me too. Well she is some where." He
shrugged.

"Lets go in my room and play with action figures." Zeek and Puma ran past
Shana.

"Oh my!" Shana and Dart sat down at the little table. "So um who are these
people?"

"The girl says they're travelers. They just needed a town to stay in for a
while." Dart scratched his hair.

Dart and Shana heard the door knocked. Shana got up and opened the door. "Oh
hello."

"Hello, ma'm. Um is my brother in here? He's short and has raven hair."

"Yes, his name is Puma, right?"

"Right." Dianna looked at Dart. "Hey Mr.. Dart."

"Hello Dianna. Puma and Zeek are playing."

"Oh okay. I'll come back for him."

"Oh you can stay here if you would like. I'll fix dinner for the both of
you." Shana pulled up a chair for Dianna to sit down in.

"...If you insist but I really don't want to intrude."

"Nonsense! You're not intruding." Shana closed the door and sat down next to
Dianna.

"There are plenty of kids your age in this town. Would you like to meet
them?" Dart asked.

"Not really. You see my brother and I are always on the go. And we really
don't stay long in places to be friends with everybody."

"Oh how come?" Shana asked.

"We're looking for our parents. We have been alone ever since I was six and
he was 1 years old. And we're really focused on that goal."

Dart and Shana were silent for a few minutes. Then Dart got up and left.
Shana just looked around thinking of something to say.

"Do you remember your mother at all?" Shana asked.

"Kinda. She was tall, beautiful and my brother has her same color hair. I
don't remember my father much but Dart reminds me of him a little. It's
weird almost." Dianna sat there, waiting for Shana to respond. But Shana sat
there in shock.

"Well I'd better start preparing dinner. We're having chicken and rice."
Shana walked to the stove.

"Oh that sounds yummy! Would you like some help?" Dianna got up from her
seat.

"No, I'm fine. Take a look around Seles if you would like." She put a small
pot on the stove.

"Alright." Dianna walked out of the house. The town was small but filled
with people. Children were playing with their dolls, balls, and dogs. The
adults were rushing to get from one place another, and some were just
inside, either cleaning or being lazy. It was a peaceful place after all.

Dianna walked around to the graveyard that was close by. It wasn't that big
and gloomy as a regular graveyard would be. Not that many people died. The
fence that surrounded the graveyard and the tomb stones were burnt. She felt
the burnt part of a little tomb stone, that said, "In the memory of..." but
the rest was faded away.

"Have you ever heard of the Serdian War?" The old voice startled Dianna.

"No, I can't say that I have. Was this town in the middle of a war? No
wonder the grave's are burned." Dianna smiled and looked around. The old
voice came from an old man. He stood in front of her, with his long grey
hair, and purple uniform. He was bunched over, with his arms to his back.

"This whole country was in a middle of a war, would you like to hear
everything?"

"Uh I'm sorry but I must really get going. I got to find my little brother."

"But he's with Zeek, my great-grandson. They seem to get along so well."

"Oh..he's your great-grandson. I'm new here, so I don't know much about this
town or country -"

"I already know. Dart told me about you and how you remind him of someone we
were friends with ten years ago."

"Really? Who was this person?" Dianna had a gleam in her eyes. This might be
a clue to her mother and father.

"She was an excellent fighter and very intelligent. If it wasn't for her, we
wouldn't have saved the world."

"Huh?" Dianna had a puzzled look on her face. What was he talking about,
"saving the world?"

"We fought Dragons, Winglies, Bandits, ghosts, and got through it all. My
name is Haschel. And you are?"

"I'm Dianna. I'm on a journey."

"Oh! Of what kind?"

"In search of my parents. I was an orphan when I was six and I had to take
care of my brother, Puma on my own."

"WOW! That was a big responsibility for a young child."

"Oh, well I liked it. Sometimes it was difficult for me and my brother. But
we got through it all."

"Please tell me more over dinner at Shana's house. I love stories about
journeys and I'd love to hear more about you and brother." Haschel walked
away. Dianna poundered, thinking of who she looked so familiar to whom they
knew. Was it her mother, or was it someone else?

She walked away from the graveyard and went inside the Chapel. Several
people were on their knees, praying to Soa. No one was worried about her
entering the chapel. She figured why bother them. So Dianna left quietly.

"Watch out!" A voice called from afar.

"Huh?!" A ball came flying to her head. She rolled down the steps and scared
the old ladie's birds away. "Watch where you roll!" She walked away, calling
the birds to another place to eat.

"Sorry....owe...HEY! What did you do that for?!" Dianna couldn't get up so
quickly.

A young boy, with long redish brown hair came running from where he had
threw the ball. "Are you alright? I'm terribly sorry. Are you hurt? Do you
need a doctor?"

"No...I'm fine. Ouch...ouch...um I must be going now."

"I'm Allen. And you are?"

"I'm Dianna. Please to meet you."

"Dianna is a lovely name. My aunt says, there's a goddess of the moon named
'Dianna."
"Wow, that sounds inernesting. I really have to get going, I'll see you
later. Bye bye!" Dianna rushed to get away. She ran back to Shana and Dart's
house. Allen watched her leave him. He sighed and went to go play again. He
went back to his friends, who were waiting for him.

"So who was that?" The girl with platium hair asked kindley.

"Oh, her name was Dianna. She is new here." Allen said.

"Really? She is kinda cute, don't you think so, Allen?" The blonde hair boy
teased.

"Well, Nigel, I do think so. But I'm not inernested." Allen tried to hide.

"Uh huh, Allen has a crush...again." The girl with platium hair said.

"Umm I'll be right back." Allen quickely ran off in the direction, Dianna
went, leaving his friends behind.

"I wonder what the Prince Allen of Basil see's in her? Hmm maybe it's her
eyes. From afar I could notice her eyes were very deep." The platuim hair
girl said.

"I dunno, Lenus, but he must really like her. Lets just finish playing
without Lova-boy." Nigel and Lenus continued with their game.

Meanwhile, Allen was searching for Dianna in this small town. He lost her by
the crowd of people. "Ahh dammit. Where did she go?" He wasn't about to give
up on her. He searched through the town for her. Everytime he thought he had
seen her in the corner of his eyes, it wasn't her. He finally gave up and
knocked on Shana's door.

"Yes? Oh Prince Allen, what a pleasent surpirse! Do come in." Shana opened
the door wider for him to enter in.

"Thank you, Mrs. Shana, um you haven't seen a girl with yellow hair and
pretty saphire eyes, around have you?"

"Yes, I have, she is staying for dinner. Would like to stay as well?"

"Oh yes that would be great! Um where is she?"

"I don't know Prince Allen. But you might want to ask her brother, Puma, who
is in Zeek's room."

"Okay, um Mrs. Shana, please just call me Allen."

"Alright. You know what? You just reminded me of your father."

"Hmm well I'll keep that in mind. Thank you!"

Shana went back to cooking. As Dianna was wondering around the town, she
went inside an Armor Shop. Swords, shields, and armor of all sorts, covered
the wall. Weapons were polished until they had a bright glow. There was a
hug man, searching through the axes with his son.

"Kongol think's this axe is perfect for you."

"Bastu think's axe is beautiful."

"Yes, indeed it is. Would you like first axe?"

"Thank you, father."

Dianna couldn't help but hear the two talk. She looked around for other
weapons they may have.

"Kongol would like to buy ask." He told the man who ran the store.

"2000 in gold." he told Kongol.

"Kongol don't have 2000. I'm sorry, Bastu." Kongol felt embarrissed.

"It's okay, father." Bastu put the axe away.

The two left the store, without any weapons. Dianna felt sorry for the two.
She walked outside and and it began to rain. "Oh no!" She ran in the mud to
Shana's house. AS she ran faster, she slipped and fell into the mudd. "Eww
now I'm soaked and dirty." She slowly got up and walked back to the house.

"Shana was wating for Dianna to come back. Puma, Zeek, Dart, and Allen were
sitting at the table. "Oh I hope she is alright. And where is Haschel?"
Shana worried.

"She'll be alright. I know Dianna. I bet she found that Haschel guy and is
taking him here." Puma said with a huge smile on his face.

"I hope you're right, Puma."

Soon the door flew open. Haschel came in soaked with water, and Dianna came
is soaked in water and mud. "I hope we're not too late!" Haschel said.

"Oh dear! Hurry and change! I don't want you two to catch a cold!" Shana
rushed them into separate bedrooms. "What have you two been doing outside?
Here, put these on and come in the kitchen when you're done." Shana was
tossing close in the rooms.

"Um Shana, it's okay honey." Dart said.

"Oh but they are wet." Shana came back in the kitchen to sit down.

"Mommy, I'm hungry! Can we eat now?" Zeek moaned.

"We have to wait for Dianna and Haschel to come out." Allen said.

Haschel walked out in his regular close, but they were already dried. "I
just sat by the fire place and warmed up a bit."

Dianna came out in a long white dress. She held her head down in
embarissement. "Do you have anything else to wear?"

"No...anywho, lets eat!" Shana said, bringing the chicken and rice over to
the table.

After eating everyone went into their rooms. Haschel had his separate room,
Shana and Dart were in the same bedroom, Puma and Zeek went into Zeek's
room, and Allen and Dianna were left with the same room. "If you touch me in
anyway, you'll be seeing your precious moon up close." Dianna threaten.

"I wasn't planing to, Dianna. I was going to sleep." Allen said. He went to
his bed. Dianna monitered him as she went to her bed.
"Why do you think I'm going to hurt you?"

"It's not that...anywayz, good night." She faced her back to him and closed
her eyes.

"Good...night, Dianna." He closed his eyes and they were both asleep.

In the middle of the night, shooting flames were flying over Seles. The
lights woke everyone in Seles. People were coming from out their homes, and
people were peaking through thier windows. Dart ran outside and Haschel
followed. They saw Kongol across from their house. "What happened?" Kongol
came to them.

"We don't know! We just woke up and saw these lights above us." Dart said
amazed by the flames.

"I hope they won't fall on the town." Kongol said.

"I doubt. They seem they are heading to another place to fall in." Haschel
said.

"Aren't they beautiful?" Dianna came out from the dark. "They are so lovely
and passionate. Puma would love to see them. He loves fire. I'm more into
the dark atmosphere."

"Rose....." Haschel mummbled to himself. "Well I'm going to bed." Haschel
left them.

"Kongol better check on Bastu and Tammy." Kongol walked away.

"The flames seem angry." Dianna said softly to herself.

"Huh? How can you tell?" Dart asked.

"Look at them. They are glowing bright and violently. Whoever made them, is
furious at something." Dianna explained to Dart the best way she could have.
"'ll go back to bed. Good night...for what's left of it."

The next morning Puma and Dianna were already awake and ready to leave.

"Hey! Dianna! Please wait!" Haschel, Dart and Kongol were trying to catch up
with them.

"Phew. I must ask you, where did you kind those Dragoon Spirits?" Haschel
asked.

"What's that?" Puma asked.

"Those stones you have as necklesses." Kongol said.

"Oh, we found these. We were going to sell them but we figured they are to
precious to give away." Dianna said.

"Well those are the Dragoons Spirits of the Fire Dragon and Dark Dragon.
It's hard to explain, but you see, I have one too." Dart showed his Divine
Dragoon Spirit to them. It glowed bright. Haschel took his Thunder Dragoon
Spirit out as well. Kongol took his out too.

"They're beautiful." Dianna said. "I have this saphire. But I don't get
what's going on."

"You're a Dragoon. So is your brother. You can control Dragons now. Do you
know what the flames were all about?" Dart asked.

"No, we don't. But they are always around. This time they were angry. Dianna
told me they were frightening to see." Puma said.

"All we know is that where we found these Spirits, that's where the flames
came from." Dianna said.

"Yeah! And there was a strange moan, coming from the water!" Puma said.

"MOAN? What if..." Dart stopped. "Melbu Frahma?" He mummbled to Kongol and
Haschel.

"Huh? Who?" Dianna and Puma stood there, waiting for an answer.

"Nevermind. Please stay longer, Dianna and Puma." Haschel asked.

"Alright, if it would make you feel better....The sky is changing like it
did last night." Puma said.

Just as they all walked back into the house, the flames came back and
monsters started to invade the town. They were attacking everything in
sight. The flames came down on Seles, burning every building they landed on.

"Shana! Zeek!" Dart dashed to his house.

"Dart!" Haschel followed. Kongol left Dianna and Puma by themselves.

"Hey! What's going on?" Puma was scared. "What should we do sis?"

"Help anyone who is in danger, come on!" Dianna and Puma ran off. They first
went into the weapon shop and took any weapon they knew how to use. Dianna
took arm blades, and Puma took two daggers. They both went ouside and
slashed every monsters that stood in thier way. "Dianna! Allen needs our
help!"

Allen, Nigel, and Lenus were surrounded by monsters. "What do we do now?
Lenus! You're a Wingly! You have powers! Do something!" Nigel said.

"Ahhhh I can't....I don't know how to use my powers that well!" Lenus said.

"Look Dianna and Puma are coming to help us!" Allen said. Dianna cut in half
some of the monsters and knocked some out. "Oh Dianna you are so strong!"
Allen admired her fighting.

"Gee thank you...we gotta help Dart and the others. Hurry!" Nigel didn't
follow them. He ran into the Chapel to get away from everybody. Dianna and
the others, saw that the door of Dart's house was wide opened. "I hope
everyone is alright!" Just as they ran inside, they saw a bright light,
coming from te cracks of a room. Dart, Shana, and Haschel were trapped and
couldn't break free from the light. Dart's and Haschel's Dragoon Spirits
fell from them and they disappeared. "Dart!"
"Shana!" "Haschel!"

"Where's Zeek?!" Puma went to search for Zeek. He was in his room, lying on
his bed unconcious. Puma dragged Zeek out of the house. "Zeek! Zeek! Wake
up!"

"Puma, he'll be alright. Stay here with him." Lenus said.

"Lenus went out the house and ran to where, Kongol and Bastu were staying.
"Father was kidnapped by bright light! And left Gold Stone!" Bastu was
upset.

"It's okay, Bastu, we'll get you father back!" Lenus said.

"Oh Kongol!" Tammy his wife said.

"Come on Bastu, we gotta find the others," Lenus grabbed Bastu and went back
to the house.

"Dianna? Allen? Puma?" Lenus called their names.

"I'm over here." Puma screamed.

"Puma watch out!" Lenus and Bastu ran to Puma.

Puma turned around and stabbed a monster with his dagger. "Ahhhh! Get away
from me!"

"Puma!" Dianna came running from the weapon shop. "I figured you were
getting him, so I got this for the big guy." Dianna handed Bastu an axe.

"Bastu don't know what to say."

"Don't worry about it. We just need to escape!" Dianna said.

"I need to take my mother." Bastu said.

"Alright, get her. Anyone else we need to take?" Dianna asked.

"Nigel is in the Chapel. I'll go get him." Lenus said.

"Alright. Allen, hold Zeek. Me and Puma will stop the monsters from getting
to you and Zeek." Dianna said.

"Okay. We can go to Basil, my home." Allen suggested. "It's not far."

"Alright....These Dragoons Dart and Haschel dropped are very valuable, let's
keep them."
Dianna said.

"Bastu found father's as well....and it's glowing."

".....Go get your mother!! We gotta leave fast!" Dianna, Allen, and Puma
rushed to the entranced.

Chapter 1: A new team of Dragoons.

Allen held Zeek closely, so that Zeek wouldn't fall. Dianna was ahead of
everyone, slashing each monster, with her hand blades. Puma was, as usual,
dodging every swing the monsters would give. Batsu soon caught up with is
mother, Tammy. "Hurry mother!" Batsu held his mother's hand tightly as they
ran away from the burning Seles. Lenus used her wings to escape Seles, while
holding the scared Nigel in her arms. "Stop moving, Nigel! I might drop
you!!" Lenus screamed.

"D-don't! I'm to young to die!" Nigel cried out.

Dianna and the others, head to the forest that was closer to them, and safer
to hide in. She guided them to a cave nearby. Lenus lost track of the others
and flew down to the ground. "Are you crazy!? There are monsters around
here!!" Nigel screamed at Lenus.

"If you don't be quiet, the monster will hear your big mouth!" Lenus
screamed back. "Now, where is the others?"

Meanwhile, Dianna and Puma guarded the entrance of the cave. Batsu, Allen
and Tammy, watched over Zeek. "Oh poor boy." Tammy said as she laid his head
in her lap. "I hope his parents are alright. Oh Kongol...where are you?"

"Mom, the bright light took away father! I'm scared, what if father doesn't
come back?" Batsu sighed and sat next to his mother.

"I hope my father is alright as well. We ought to head to Basil, where I
live." Allen suggested.

"What makes you think it's safe over there?" Dianna asked rudely.

"My father is the king of Basil. He is King Albert! And I'm Prince Allen!"
Allen explained.

"So...that doesn't make you father as powerful as what we just got through!"
Dianna said. She walked into the cave and sat by Batsu and Tammy. "Even with
an army, you can still be weak."

"How dare you insult my father and his army of men who, fight to protect
their country and their families!" Allen yelled in anger. He could see
Dianna wasn't worried about what he said. It was nothing to her. She drew a
blank look on her face and tuned him out completely.

"Do you think he will be alright, Dianna?" Puma asked.

"I don't know, Puma. I hope so." She brushed his hair with her fingers,
gently. "Let's go look for Lenus and Nigel."

"Can I stay here with Zeek?" Puma asked.

"Um okay. Who wants to come with me?" Dianna looked at Batsu and then Allen.

"I must watch over my mother." Batsu answered and looked down at the ground.

"I'll go then. Even though you insulted my father." Allen answered.

"Fine, you can be mad all you want with me. But I told the damn truth about
your father and his men, why can't you except that?" Dianna walked away, and
into the forest.

"She acts like she know's everything! GOD SHE'S A BITCH!" Allen looked over
at Tammy and Batsu.

"Now Allen! You're a prince! And you're suppose to act like a gentleman. She
maybe shy and may not understand or ever heard of your father's past." Tammy
said.

"I guess so. But she doesn't have to be mean." Allen followed Dianna out of
the cave.

"My sister has always been like that. She is so uptight sometimes. Usually
when she meets knew people." Puma explained to Tammy and Batsu.

Tammy smiled at Puma, "You're not like that. You're so sweet and so
concerned about Zeek."

"All she thinks about is finding mother and father. I'm younger than her and
I already know that they are dead....She still believes they aren't dead." A
tear fell down from Puma's cheek. "All she remembers of mother and father is
that they were strong and mysterious."

"Ohhhh, well in the end of your long journey, you'll find the answer you've
been looking for all this time, Puma." Tammy reached over and held Puma in
her arms.

Meanwhile, Lenus and Nigel were running around, looking for the everyone.
"This is hopeless! Where are these people?!" Nigel asked Lenus as if she
knew.

"How do I know?!" Lenus asked. Lenus flew above the trees in search of
Dianna and the others. "No sigh of Allen or anybody." Then she looked
closer. She saw Allen and Dianna wondering around. "Hey there they are!"
Lenus flew back down and grabbed Nigel. They flew above Dianna and Allen.
"Hey guys!" Lenus called out.

Dianna looked above and saw Lenus smiling and Nigel shaking. "Hey come down
here!!" Dianna yelled.

Lenus flew down and dropped Nigel. "So what's up?" Lenus asked giggling in
joy.

"Nothing much, we were looking for you two. Come on, the cave is this way."
Dianna said, already walking in the direction of the cave. Allen monkey
shined behind Dianna.

They finally reached the cave. Zeek was still knocked out. Puma and Batsu
were playing Tic-Tac Toe in the dirt. Tammy had started a fire and was so
thrilled to see everyone was alright. "Oh you're back! And so soon! Thank
God! Anywho, Nigel and Allen, please find a river and catch some fish! I
want to cook fish for everyone!" Tammy said.

"Yes, Mrs. Tammy," Allen said.

"Um....I can't fish...I can't even eat fish." Nigel said.

"Then you don't eat. Come on Allen, let's go get the fish." Dianna pulled
Allen away.

As they were gone, Puma, Lenus, Nigel and Batsu sat round the fire place,
telling ghost stories. And it was getting late, Tammy was worried about the
two.

Dianna and Allen were still catching fish. Dianna was quicker at catching
them. Allen was falling in the water, getting bitten by the fish, and
scaring some away.

"You're so pathetic for a prince." Dianna said.

"Oh shut up! I don't care what you think!" Allen finally caught a fish. "I
have one! I have one!" He threw it on the ground and watched it jump up and
down. "Isn't it beautiful?!"

"Yeah...sure. Can't you do better?" Dianna pushed his last button. Allen got
red and furious with anger.

"THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I HAD EVER CAUGHT A FISH! CAN'T YOU AT LEAST BE
GRATEFUL AND SAY SOMETHING NICE?" Allen screamed.

"...Alright Princey, congratulations! It's a beautiful fish! I love it so
much. Gee and I'm so jealous too." Dianna said sarcastically and put a few
fish in her hands. "Come on, everyone is hungry, Princey."

"Humph! You're such a brat! I wish I had never laid eyes on you!" Allen
gulped and blushed. He felt embarrassed to tell Dianna that already. She
looked at him and smile. She started to giggle and walked off. "Oh great,
now she thinks I'm nuts."

They headed back to the cave.

In another place, far far away from any civilization, four humans, behind
bars struggle to break free.

"Furry Stynx!" Haschel tried once more to break the bars.

"It's not working Haschel.Maybe you should rest." Shana said.

"Kongol tried before and didn't work. I'm tired." Kongol sat on the dirty
floor.

"Our weapons are gone, Seles is in flames, and the children might be in
trouble!!" Dart laid in the bed, worried to death.

"Don't worry yourself. That girl...she might help them. She seems very
strong for a teenager. I didn't want to say this before, but she reminds me
of Rose so much." Haschel said.

"Your right. She has those deep sapphire eyes that seem to reel you in. And
she seems quiet as well as Rose." Shana, moved Dart's legs and sat down.
"But she isn't Rose. And I doubt her and Rose are related."

"Puma is to cheerful to be her brother. But him and Zeek are so alike. They
both remind me of Dart and Claire so much." Haschel said, thinking back on
Claire.

"Kongol think girl and boy are different." Kongol got up and walked to the
bars.

"Zeek told me before he went to bed, that Puma has a red stone and Dianna
has a sapphire stone." Shana said.

"We had noticed them too. Maybe that's why we see Rose in her. But who does
Puma resemble?" Dart questioned.

"I doubt they are related to Rose. If she had children they would have been
dead long before we had met them. Like she would have been." Haschel said.

"Oh I hope Zeek is safe. I hope whoever brought us here, doesn't find
Albert, Miranda, Meru." Shana cried.

"We all hope so, Shana." Haschel said.

The moon was full, everyone in the cave was asleep. The wind howled loud and
entered the cave, cooling off the travelers. Animals of the night wondered
around for their prey. The monsters from Seles, were howling at the moon.
The people who survived from Seles were hiding in underground shelters,
trembling from the sounds the monsters made. The sun began to rise. Animals
hid in bushes while some awoke to the beauty of the sun. The light snuck
into the cave, shining on Puma's face. His eyes opened and jumped up to
praise another morning, for being alive. "Wake up everyone! It's a new day!
Let's go to Basil!" Puma shook everyone from a sound sleep. Allen yawned and
stretched. Lenus and Dianna woke up. Nigel and Batsu stretched along with
Allen and Tammy was rubbing her eyes.

"Oh my, what a bright sun. Gee I hope Basil is safe." Tammy said, still
holding Zeek.

"Oh course it is! My father is king!" Allen said. "Let's get going!"

It took hours and long battles with monsters, but they made it to Basil. It
was still active and peaceful. Puma and Allen ran towards the castle.
Dianna, Tammy, Batsu, and Lenus were left behind. "I wonder if there's a
nearby hospital here?" Tammy took Zeek around the city.

Dianna stood still, gazing at the water, "Hey, Dianna! Let's get going!"
Lenus called out.

"Okay!" Dianna followed Lenus and Batsu to the castle.

As Dianna took her first step inside, her heart dropped. It was so beautiful
and full of servants and guards. She amazed. It took her heart away. She had
never been inside a castle before in her life. "This is so..." she mumbled
to herself. She followed Lenus and Batsu to the thrown room. She finally saw
this great father and king, Allen was so proud of.

"Dianna! You came!" Puma ran to his sister and gave her a hug. "I was
wondering what took you so long!"

"Hello, Puma....hello..." Dianna gazed at the man and his beautiful wife,
that sat by his side. She bowed at their feet.

"Please, dear, there is no need to." The Queen Ellie said.

"....Uhh mother, father, this is Dianna, and Puma. They are new to Serdio."
Allen introduced Dianna and Puma.

King Albert walked down to Dianna and Puma. He noticed the dragoon spirits,
they held in their possession. "Welcome. This way, you must tell me your
long journey."

"Y-yes, sir." Dianna said in fear. Allen noticed Dianna's unusual behavior.
Maybe she was afraid of the king, he thought.

"Dianna, are you alright?" Allen's touched her shoulder.

She turned around to face Allen in guilt. Her eyes filled up. "Y-yes I'm
fine....and I'm sorry."

"I forgave you a long time ago. Now lets go." Allen and Dianna were the only
ones left in the room, other than the guards. They walked inside the king's
bedroom.

"Uncle!" Nigel finally had a chance to hug Albert. "I wanna go home so
much!"

"Don't worry, I'll get you home fast enough." Albert looked over at his son
and Dianna, who were both close to each other. She had a worried look on her
face. Albert stared at her, making her feel uncomfortable.

"Please stop looking at me!" Dianna yelled.

"I'm sorry if I scared you. You just look so familiar....I'm deeply sorry."
Albert looked around and saw everyone else. "Hello Lenus, how's your mother,
Meru?"

"Oh she is great! Still dancing." Lenus said.

"And Batsu, how is Kongol?" Albert asked.

"Father gone. He was kidnapped!" Batsu explained to Albert.

"Huh? What about Dart and the others?" Albert was concerned and shocked to
hear such a thing.

"They're gone too. Zeek and Mrs. Tammy are in town, looking for a hospital."
Puma said.

"How -"

"Father, a bright light took, Haschel, Dart, Shana, and Kongol." Allen said.

".....I wonder if there is a link to this. Meru and I are the last remaining
dragoons now. And you two," he looked over to Dianna and Puma, "you guys are
the fire and dark dragoons."

Lenus held out the purple dragoon spirit she held for Hashcel. Batsu held
out Kongol's gold dragoon spirit, and Nigel held out the grey dragoon spirit
that he held for Dart. Dianna and Puma held their's out as well. Albert took
out the hidden necklace he had in his shirt. He took out his green dragoon
spirit. "Here son." Albert gave Allen the spirit. In Allen's hand, the
spirit began to glow, Dianna's sapphire dragoon spirit followed. Puma felt
his dragoon spirit light up before his eyes. Lenus' and Batsu's spirits lit
up before their eyes as well.

"Why isn't mine doing that?" Nigel asked.

"Maybe you're not a chosen dragoon." Albert said.

"But that's not fair!" Nigel whined. "I want to be a dragoon!"

"You may not be right for that particular dragoon spirit." Albert tried to
explain.

"So we're chosen to be dragoons? Why?" Dianna asked.

"I have a feeling evil awaken from the earth and is calling the dragoons for
a fight. I can feel it in the air. Ever since yesterday." Albert said.

"That's when the flames flew over Seles and then brought monsters to
invade." Dianna said.

"Then an evil has awaken and wants revenge over the dragoons. Melbu Frahma
still holds it in for us, after all these years." Albert continued. The more
he talked his eyes grew wide with terror. "That fight was our last and
painful one. Rose and Zieg sacrificed themselves to save earth. I remember
it as if it was yesterday. Melbu Frahma's fall was forced on him by us,
Hashcel, Dart, Miranda, Zieg, Meru, Rose, Kongol, Shana and myself. I can't
believe he is still alive after sixteen years."

"Sixteen? Haschel told me a little about the story and said ten years."
Dianna said.

"He is old, and he is loosing his memory a little. Either that, or he just
wishes he was young, and tries to set back time in his own way." Albert said
and then sighed. "I hope everyone is alright.

"I've heard about Melbu Frahma by my mother. And she told me that I was
named after the woman who gave her that water dragoon spirit." Lenus said.

"Yes, Lenus, was blinded by love. She fought on the wrong side for a
mysterious Wingly named Lloyd. He had the Divine Dragoon Spirit and passed
it on to Dart." Albert told them the story of how everything started. About
Lavitz, and the connection with Shana and The Moon that Never Sets. Everyone
paid attention real well to understand what was going on. "We must find out
what's going on and free Dart and the others."

"What should we do?" Dianna asked.

"Take the Queen Fury to Millie Seasue and find Miranda. She'll give you the
light dragoon spirit and then find Meru and take her water dragoon spirit."
Before Albert finished, Dianna interrupted, "We take them so that they can
be safe, right?"

"Right. But come back here, and if I'm not here, and I'm gone, go to an old
Wingly city, Ulara. There you will find Winglies who will help you on your
journey." Sweat came running down Albert's face.

"Um excuse me but I thought this place was called Bale? Now it's Basil."
Dianna said.

"I figured change wouldn't hurt the city. Oh...my heart..." Albert grabbed
his chest tight.

"Father! Are you alright?" Allen rushed to his father's side. "Hurry call
for help!"

Nigel ran out the room and called the guards. Ellie ran to her poor Albert's
side with Allen. Dianna and Puma got out the way and let the guards take him
away. "What's going on!?" Ellie screamed.

"We don't know mother! Father was talking and then he held his chest." Allen
said as Ellie and him went with the guards. Dianna and the others followed.

They took Albert to a room where the nurses will be watching and taking care
of him. Albert laid on the bed sweaty and shaking. Ellie held his hand and
Allen held the other hand. "Is he having a heart attack of some kind?" Ellie
asked one of the nurses.

"I don't know your Highness, he must examine him to find out." The nurse
with red hair said.

"Oh Albert, hang in there." Ellie and the others were asked to leave the
room. They each walked out and each upset for Albert.

Dianna left everyone and went to the balcony in the thrown room. Allen
followed Dianna, for he wasn't happy to see her not upset. She stood,
looking down at the once was Bale and now Basil. The wind blew in her hair,
making her hair dance in the air. Her eyes watered as she looked at the
city. The sun shined above the castle and waters. Allen slowly walked to
Dianna.

"Why did you leave and not had stayed with everyone?" Allen asked as he
stood by her side looking at the sky, water and city with her.

"I thought you and your mother ought to be alone. And everyone was upset so
I came here to think." Dianna said as she pulled her hair back.

"To think about what?" Allen looked over at Dianna. But Dianna was about to
face him.

"Just stuff that I have been thinking about since I was little." Dianna
said.

"Oh, would you like to talk about it?" Allen asked.

"No, not really. I would like to be alone, please Allen." Dianna peaked at
Allen and then looked over to the water.

"Alright, if you insist. But if you need someone to talk to, I'm always
here." Allen walked away from Dianna. She turned around and watch him leave.
Why is he so nice? She wondered as he went out of sight. For someone who is
supposed to be spoiled in royalty, he sure is kind and caring. Dianna gazed
out at everything that was in front of her eyes. Beautiful free spirited
birds flew past the city. Watching the birds made her feel better. Since the
sun was about to leave everyone's sight, Dianna decided to leave the balcony
and join everyone.

Meanwhile, Ellie was crying, Lenus, Nigel, Batsu and Allen sat down on a
long bench in the waiting room. Puma was on the floor taking a nap.

Dianna walked in quietly and sat down on the floor next to her brother.

"You children should go. I'll stay by Albert." Ellie said.

"No, he's the king, we can't leave him." Dianna said.

"But honey, you must go, like he said and find answers to everything." Ellie
blew her nose.

"But, your Highness -"

"Dianna! Do what I say and go!" Ellie demanded. "And everyone should go to
Fletz."

"Finally I'm going home!" Nigel said.

Dianna and Lenus left the room. Allen followed. Nigel had shook Puma up.
Puma swung at Nigel and woke up. "Oops! Sorry Nigel!"

"I'm okay..."

They all left Basil.

Chapter 2: The Journey Begins.

Fletz, was active. When Nigel and Allen entered through the gate, everybody
praised them and greeted them. Dianna, Lenus, Batsu, and Puma were no one to
them. "Oh Prince Allen, you have grown so big since the last time I've seen
you!" Someone yelled from the crowd. Allen blushed and waved a the people.
Nigel ran around greeting everyone. "Oh Nigel, we're so glad you're back!"
Another person from the crowd yelled. Nigel ran to the guard, blocking the
entrance. He was looking up at the bright blue skies that hugged Fletz.

"I'm back!" Nigel said to the guard. The guard looked down at him. "Well
what are you waiting for?"

"Oh! Prince Nigel! I'm so sorry." The guard moved to the side and let Nigel
and the others enter the Twin Towers. "In here, it's even more beautiful
than my uncle's castle. No offense Allen." Nigel showed off the two statues
that stood grey and noticeably old.
"Where's the Queen Fury?" Dianna asked Nigel.

"Oh it's not here yet. You'll have to stay over night." Nigel said. "Hurry,
this way!" Nigel ran up the stairs and into the thrown room. "Mother!
Father! I'm home!"

Queen Lisa stood up, "Oh Nigel!" She ran to him in tears, "Oh Nigel, I
thought something happened to you! The guard, who brought you to Seles, came
back without you and I knew something terrible happened."

She hugged him tightly, "M-mother! Seles was under attack! I had no choice
but to lead these people out of Seles and to a safe place!" Dianna and the
others looked at him in distust.

"You lying sack of..." Dianna mumbled to herself.

"Aunt Lisa, where'e Uncle?" Allen asked as she came to hug him.

"Oh he left to Millie Seasue on the Queen Fury. He needed to speak to the
queen about the war that's starting up west." Queen Lisa walked to her
thrown and sat down. Nigel followed and sat down with her.

"War? Why a war? What's going on?" Lenus asked.

"The Zucons, they want to control more land I guess. They already invaded
Fletz with a few of their soliders." Queen Lisa explained. She grew
depressed. She tried to smile, "So who are your friends, Nigel?"

"Oh, this is Puma and Dianna. You already know the others." Nigel said.

"Nice to meet you all. Are you staying over night?" Queen Lisa asked.

"Yes, we are. We're waiting for the Queen Fury to come," said Dianna.

Queen Lisa clapped her hands. Two maids came in, one in blue and the other
in pink. "Please, Arra and Lelo, please help these children to their room
with clean clothes." Queen Lisa said gracefully.

"Yes, your Highness. I'll take the men," said Arra, the maid in blue.

"And I'll take the women," said Lelo, the maid in pink.

The castle was divided up into two towers. One for Nigel and the other one
was for Queen Lisa and King Nello to rest.

When night fell in Fletz, the busy workers was heading home to sleep. The
girls were in their own room, putting on nightgowns, the maid, Lelo gave
them. Each were the same, long, white, silk nightgowns. Lenus had the bed
below the window. She sat there staring at the moon and writting in her
journal, all of what had happened before they got here. Dianna had the bed
closer to the door. She had rest her light blonde hair on the blue designed
cotton pillow with the covers on her.

"I wonder where our journey will take us." Lenus said, turning her head to
face Dianna.

"I don't know. All I know is that I'm some kind of heroen called a dragoon.
I really don't want to be. I'd rather stay on the same journey that I was
on. But I feel sorry for Shana, Dart, Haschel and Kongol. And who know's
what had happened to King Albert." Dianna closed her eyes, "Good night,
Lenus."

"Good night, Dianna." Lenus closed the curtains and got into the covers. She
hid her journal under her pillow and and fell asleep after a while.

The sky was navy blue, full of colorful stars, to light the darkness. The
guards were watching over the castle. As Dianna was asleep, a cold breath,
blew on her neck. She could feel in her sleep, the cold breath, getting
colder and colder as it came close. Quickely she opened her eyes. Nothing,
was there. But she knew, it was still around. She snuck out of her room and
shut the door, quietly behind her. Across the hallway and outside, she was,
under the stars, and moon that looked down on her in fear. "Whose there?"
She asked the wind only. No answer. So she walked towards the gold railing
and placed her hand on it. She looked down and saw nothing but the ocean.
Shadows, lurked behind her, so she saw the reflection in the water. Quickely
she turned her head. A tall man, wearing a black cloak, hiding his face with
the hood. The only flesh that was showing was his pale hands. Dianna was in
fear, not knowing what he might do. She was paralized from his mysterious
image. Slowly he walked towards her. You can hear his shoes stepping on the
floor. As he got close, she felt chills on her back. The wind blew Dianna's
hair into the night's air. They were face to face, she could feel him
breathing. "W-who are you?" Dianna asked softly in fear. He didn't answer.
He raised his hand to her face. She slightly turned her head away, closing
her eyes. Resting his hand on her left cheek of her face. She opened her
eyes to look at him. No face to see. Is he going to kill me? Dianna's fear
turned into baverey. She pushed his hand away from her face. "Well are you
here to fight?" Dianna asked him as he stood there.

"No." The hooded man said.

"Then are you here for?" Dianna asked as she stared at him back.

"Hmph, I can't believe you're a dragoon. You're so petite." The hooded man
said.

"Yeah so, why were you in my room, breathing on my neck?" Dianna asked.

"Hehehe," He giggled to himself, "You bewitched me."

"Huh?" As he said those last words, he lifted himself into the air. Dianna
looked up and watched him float above her.

"You'll see me again, I promise," He flew to the west. She watch him leave
her.

"Who is he?" Dianna knew she should have asked him. But how could she. She
was scared, for she wasn't prepared for a fight. She took a deep breath and
walked back to her room.

The next morning, everyone was prepared to leave. Nigel was going to stay at
home, with his mother Queen Lisa. Lenus, Batsu, Allen, Puma, and Dianna,
were in the thrown room, waiting for Queen Lisa to enter. Nigel, ran to his
side of the thrown. Queen Lisa, gracefully walked to her thrown. She sat
down, facing everyone with a smile. "Well, I gues you're going to leave me.
Well I hope your journey is worth what you seek. Bye bye." Just as everyone
bowed, "OH! I almost forgot, you must go to Donau, they have a Woman ther,
with a ship of her own."

"What's her name, your Highness?" Lenus asked as she rose from the floor.

"Sandra, she is a tough looking woman." Queen Lisa said, "Now go."

"Bye Nigel!" Puma said, as he ran out the room.

It was raining as they walked out Fletz. They all ran in the pouring rain in
the Barrens. Again, they had to stay inside a cave. They were soaked, and
Batsu started a fire. "This should keep us warm and make us dry." He said.

"Thank you, Batsu. I was freezing." Allen said. He sat on a rock, folding
his arms.

"Brrrr! It's cold, why did it have to rain?" Lenus sat down on the dirty
floor of the cave.

"Brrrrr" Puma was shaking as he moved towards the fire. "I'm s-so c-cold!"

They waited a while, until the rain cleared the skies.
