If
you’re gonna read this fanfic, you have to read the first one entitled,
“Wandering Memories” to understand this story because this story continues the
last one which ended leaving the people who did read it with a lot of
unanswered questions (I’m not telling you what the questions are cause it’s
your fault for not reading the first one). I won’t describe the
characters that I already described before so you won’t know who two of the
characters are.

Part
3 Characters:
Worlds:
Mirronexus- Said to be called, “The
Void Between Light and Dark.” Rumor has it, it can show you all that you fear,
love, and hate. Though people tell stories about this place, no one has ever
set foot on this world. Some say, it doesn’t exist.
Part
3: Shadowed Worlds
Mickey’s part,
The heartless are continuing their assault on us and they’re multiplying each second.
“Riku, are you okay?”
“Yeah, if being attacked by Darksides is okay.”
“Well, if you’re not dieing then your okay.”
Nothing was heard for a while, besides the heartless being slaughtered, until-
“This is all your fault,” Riku angrily said, “If it weren’t for you I wouldn’t be here!”
“What are you talking about?! If it weren’t for me, you’d be dead!”
“You know what?!” Riku threw down the Soul Eater, “I don’t care if I die or not!”
“Riku! Pick up your sword or you’re dead!”
“Like I said, I DON’T CARE!!!! It’s completely hopeless, no matter how many heartless we kill, they come back for more!”
“Wait, Riku calm down!”
“You want me to calm down?! Why should I? We should give up now so our deaths will be quick and painless.”
“Riku, stop right now! If you give up, you’ll never see Sora, Kairi, Tidus, Selphie, Wakka, and all your other friends!”
“My friends?! If they really were my friends, they’d be here helping me. They don’t care about me!”
“Riku, think!” I yelled, “They can’t get here! If they could, we’d be at our homes!”
“You know what? I wish that I could be alone. Without you, or Sora, or anybody else!”
A new voice spoke,
“Is that really your wish?”
A man that looked like Sora, only older and had a dark expression on his face, had appeared out of nowhere.
“Well, is it really your wish, or not?
“Yes it is,” replied Riku.
“Then step into the portal behind me.”
Riku obeyed.
“Wait a minute,” I said as Riku disappeared, “Riku’s not going anywhere without me!”
The man turned around, “Didn’t you hear his wish? He said, ‘I wish I could be alone. Without you, or’ blah blah blah you see my point.”
Without another word, he vanished, leaving me alone with the heartless.
Sora’s part,
“Bring me the keyblade.”
“Excuse me?”
“Kairi, get out of here right now and get the keyblade.”
“But Sora, I-”
“Kairi! Just go!”
“Okay, okay, you don’t have to yell.”
Kairi left the cave. The reason I wanted the keyblade, was because I felt something…dark. Sort of like the heartless, just worse.
“You know, that was kinda rude.”
I turned around and I saw a girl with light brown hair wearing a white shirt and blue jeans and just a little bit older than me.
“Who are you,” I asked.
…
“My name’s Lylenia, but other than that, I don’t know any thing about my past.”
“My name’s Sora,” I said carefully, “So you have no memories of the past?”
“Are you deaf or something?! I just said that!”
“Okay! Geez you don’t have to yell!”
…
“You know, you remind me of somebody,” Lylenia said
“Yeah? Who’s that?”
“I don’t know, but I liked him”
She walked closer toward me.
“Wh-what are you doing?” I stammered.
She put a finger on my lips, leaned forward, and kissed me. It was really awkward, because I thought I’d share my first kiss with-
“SORA!”
I pushed the girl away, and turned around to find…Kairi.
“Here’s your stupid keyblade.”
She turned around and left.
“What’s her problem?” Lylenia asked.
I gave her an angry look and ran after Kairi.
Kairi’s part,
I held back my tears after I saw Sora with that girl. How can he do that? Kissing someone he never knew. Or maybe, he did know her and kept her a secret. Either way, he broke my heart.
I took my boat and went to where Riku used to hang out. The small island with the paopu tree. I took my boat because the bridge was worn out and decayed. Nobody had been to the island in a while, ever since Riku disappeared. I looked back at the secret cave. Sora still hasn’t left it. He’s probably having fun with his new girlfriend.
I sat on the paopu tree thinking about the last few hours and how Riku was probably doing. Why did Sora need the keyblade? Who was that girl? Is Riku still alive?
I stayed here for what seemed like an hour when I saw Tidus come onto the island.
“Kairi? What are you doing here?” He said.
“I could ask you the same thing,” I answered.
“Point taken,” he said, “Sometimes I come here to think, though I never saw you or anyone else come here lately. What about you?”
“I just came here to think, too.”
“About him?”
“Who him?”
“Riku, of course.”
“Yeah, and other things.”
“Well, I’ll leave you alone,” He said, “See ya.”
“Later.”
I jumped off the tree and watched leave.
“You know? You left so suddenly we didn’t get a chance to introduce each other,” a voice from behind me said.
I turned around and saw the girl from the cave sitting on the tree.
“How did you get here?!” I asked, “I didn’t see any other boat.”
“I walked across the bridge, obviously. So are you going to introduce yourself or not?”
I shot her a look of pure spite. “My name’s Kairi.”
“Lylenia,” said Lylenia, “So how do you know Sora?”
“He’s my bes- used to be my best friend.”
“Used to? So you don’t mind if I make him my boyfriend?
“Do what you want,” I said grudgingly, “I don’t care about him.”
“Cool, I’ll go see him, right after I complete my mission.”
“Mission?” I asked, “What mission?”
“Look down.”
I looked, and saw a dark hole right under my feet.
“What are you doing?”
“I’m sending you to a place where your worst fears come true.”
I disappeared into a blanket of darkness.
Riku’s part,
I was finally alone. Traveling through a pool of darkness to some unknown world. At least it’s better than fighting a battle where I’d surely die. Now all I need to do was to get rid of the man that brought me here.
“So where are we going, anyway?” I asked.
“To a place called Mirronexus,” the man said, “You haven’t been there, am I right?”
“No, I haven’t,” I answered, “What’s your name.”
“It’s Axel, but I’m just here to bring you to me employer, Leined. Don’t worry, the meeting will be brief. Afterward, you may go wherever you want.”
A hole opened up in front of us.
“Here we are. Oh, and one more thing.”
“What?” I asked.
“If you value your life, don’t touch the mirrors. You may go, I have other matters to attend to.”
He pushed me through the hole and disappeared.

4: Deadly Meetings
Leslin’s part
13 Years ago, Twilight Town
Julia was taking a long time in the shop. She went in an hour ago and she still hasn’t come out. I would have thought she was doing this just to tick me off. I would’ve, if it weren’t for these black creatures trying to kill everyone.
Screams were heard everywhere as those creatures sucked up innocent citizens hearts. I couldn’t leave Julia behind but I had to to keep my heart. I ran away and I somehow made it back to the mansion. I went to Julia’s room to be alone but somebody wearing a black robe was already in there.
“Who are you,” I asked, “And what are you doing here?”
“Settle down, I’m not going to hurt you.”
“Then why are you here? Are you with those black creatures?”
“You’re calling them black creatures? Wow, you really are clueless.”
“Well why don’t you tell me what’s going on.”
“Okay I’ll start from the beginning, I Roxas, you clueless idiot.”
“Hey!”
“Fine, I’ll be serious. Those black creatures, they’re called heartless. They are born from the darkness in every heart. They go around and steal other people’s hearts to make more heartless. They fear only one thing.”
“What’s that?”
“The keyblade.”
“What’s a keyblade?”
“It’s like this.”
A strange light appeared and a black sword-key thing appeared.
“This is a keyblade. It can undo any lock and bring order or destruction to the worlds.”
“What are you using it for, Roxas?”
“You don’t want to know.”
“Why not?”
“Because if you knew, I’d have to turn you into a heartless.”
“What!”
“I said I wasn’t going to hurt you, I didn’t say anything about the heartless.”
I charged right at him but he dodged it.
“Don’t worry, I’ll give you a fighting chance.”
He threw a sword at me and I caught it.
“That’s a chain sword, so you’ll have a small chance to survive.”
He disappeared into a dark portal.
“Oh, and good luck.”
Heartless appeared in the mansion.
I managed to fend them off and get into the library where I saw a blond girl.
“What, are you trying to kill me too?”
“No, my name is Namine. I’m here to help.”
“Explain.”
“I will, but we don’t have much time. Roxas is part of the Organization XIII. They’re a group of Nobodies. A Nobody is someone who has a strong heart that’s been taken away but the body becomes an empty vessel and acts by itself.
“So how are you going to help me?”
“Like this.”
Some sort of glass shot up from under the floor and trapped me in a pod.
“Your girlfriend Julia has been kidnapped, and nobody can help her for a long time. You’ll be put into an enchanted sleep. When the time comes, you’ll wake up and save Julia. But remember nothing’s always what they seem.
Axel’s part,
Present, Dark Portal
What fools they all are. Leined thinks I’m going to help him rule the universe. And Riku, his heart has been lost to the darkness for a long time. By now Lylenia should be working her charms on Sora and Kairi should be in Mirronexus. There’s just one minor detail to take care of then the Organization should be ready to begin their plans.
I arrived at Twilight Town in a few minutes. It brung back memories about an old friend of mine. One reason is that we’ll send him here after this mission. The other is because I need to free someone who he got trapped here. It’s all cause and effect. We try to get another Nobody to wok for us. A blond girl traps him into a pod to protect him. Oh well, the guy in the pod will make our mission easier.
I entered the mansion and looked around. Man it looked different from the last time I was here. Smaller too. The first place I looked for the pod was the girl’s room. For some reason, it was all white. Sketches and drawings all over the walls. Wait a minute, some of the drawings had me on it. Roxas too. Whoever drew these knows a lot about the Organization. I spied a letter on the desk. It read,
DiZ,
The heartless are coming to this town. Everybody here is getting their hearts taken
from them. Soon they’ll be no one left. Before I left this world, I ran into someone.
His name was Leined and his girlfriend Julia had been kidnapped by some mysterious
adversary. I told him about the Organization XIII then trapped him in a pod to protect
him. I put the pod in the pod room under the library. I helped him because I sensed a
strong power inside of him that might help us defeat the Organization. For now, we’ll
leave him in the pod until his powers fully develop. I don’t know how long that’ll take
but I believe that he will be a great help to us.
Namine
So he’s under the library. I guess I’ll go get him. I went across the hall to the empty library. I conjured a fireball and blasted the floor. There was a secret passage to somewhere. I entered the next room and saw a computer. Nothing else in here so on to the next room. The next room had pods but Leslin wasn’t in any of them. But in the room after that, I found him. There he was all snug and comfortable. I guess it’s time to wake up Sleeping Beauty and start the next phase.
Riku’s part,
Mirrors were everywhere. It was really easy to get lost here. Somehow I made it through to Leined’s chamber. He was sitting on his throne like he was king of everything. He looked weak and vulnerable. It would be easy to defeat him.
“Ah, Riku. I’m so glad you made it here,” that guy said.
“Yeah, whatever. What do you want?”
“Geez, you really know how to kill a mood. Well I guess I’ll tell you what I want. You see, all of the worlds have too much chaos in them. The darkness in their hearts is getting out of control and if it’s not stopped soon it will consume the universe. Riku, the darkness in your heart is powerful enough to destroy hundreds of worlds yet you can control it. Riku, I want to study how you can do that and I need your full cooperation.”
“And if I refuse?”
“Well then I guess I have to use force.”
He got out two swords. One had the power of light, the other darkness. I got out the Soul Eater. This looked like an easy battle. I charged toward him and hit him a few times. Just to be merciful. After he fell down at the end of my attack, I started to walk away.
“Pitiful.”
“C’mon, Riku. Is that all you got?”
I turned around. Leined got up.
“Why don’t you try one more time,” He taunted.
“I will!”
I assaulted him again, this time with all my power. I slashed left, right, up, and down, then finishing with a dark energy blast taking away most of my energy. After that, he was gone.
“That should’ve finished him.”
“Actually, Riku, you have very bad aim.”
This wasn’t possible. He’s still alive?!
“How’s my aim?” He asked.
He disappeared.
“Where are you?”
“Right behind you, Riku.”
I felt painful strokes of light and dark. The way those two elements mixed together resulted in a deadly attack. I didn’t even get a chance to strike back. When he finally finished I had blood running down my skin.
“That’s all you got, Riku? I expected more of a fight.”
“What ar-“ I spat out some blood, “What are you going to do now?”
“I should dispose of you but I’ll give you one more chance.”
Heartless and some other types of creatures appeared.
“Before I go, these other creatures are called Nobodies. I just want you to know who’s going to kill you. Have fun.”
He disappeared into a bluish portal.
It looked like it was over but I wasn’t going to die at the hands of these fools. I touched the mirror behind me.
Leslin’s part,
Twilight Town. Roxas. Julia. Namine. Heartless. Nobodies. All from my past. Past? It felt like five minutes. Axel. Axel? Who’s Axel? Why am I so dizzy? Where am I? Am I alive? Am I dead?
“Wake up, you tired idiot.”
“Who said that,” I wondered aloud.
“Didn’t I tell you about five times already? The name’s Axel. Got it memorized? A-X-E-L. Axel.”
“Yeah I got it I got it. Where am I, anyway?”
“You’re at a place called Mirronexus. I brought you here while you were still loopy.”
“Hey, do you know where I can find my girlfriend, Julia?”
“Hmm. Julia. Julia. Rings a bell.”
“Where is she?”
“I can tell you, but you won’t like it.”
“Where is she?!”
“Fine, I’ll tell ya. She’s been kidnapped.”
“What? By who?”
“A boy named Sora. He also meddled with her memory. He should be arriving shortly. Afterward, you should make him pay for what he did.”
“I should.”
“Well, I’d better be going. See ya.”
Axel left inside a portal of darkness.
So this Sora kid messed with Julia. Well I’m gonna mess him up.
Sora’s part,
Kairi ran off.
“What’s her problem?”
I gave Lylenia an angry look and ran off.
“Hey! Where are you going?”
I stopped to talk to her.
“I’m going to find the girl you just ticked off!”
“What’s her name anyway?”
“Her name’s Kairi.”
“And why’s she ticked off?”
“Because of you!”
“Why? All I did was-” She paused. “Oh, now I see what’s going on.”
“What?”
“Kairi’s your girlfriend.”
“What?! Kairi’s n-not my girlfriend.”
“Uh-huh.”
“I’m serious, Lylenia. She’s probably mad because I kissed a complete stranger. If you don’t mind, I’m going to look for her.”
I turned around and headed for the exit again.
“You can’t leave this cave.”
“Why not?” I asked.
“Because you’re not gonna leave a poor, sweet innocent girl in this dark, spooky cave all alone.”
“Uh, yes I am.”
“You’re not leaving.”
“Didn’t I say I was?”
“I said,” she pulled out a bottle, “You’re not leaving.”
“What’re you gonna do?”
She opened the bottle.
“This.”
She threw the bottle and gas came out. I felt sleepy.
“Don’t worry,” she said, “When you wake up, you’ll be safe and sound in Mirronexus.”
Everything went black.
