“ Waaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!!!” screamed Sora. Ever since he had rescued Kairi from the Darkness Realm, his life was good. He was riding the Viper, the biggest, baddest, ride in the Twilight Town Fair. Kairi didn’t seem to be scared. She was just laughing her head off!!! “ This is the funnest, Sora!!” said Kairi. She loved lively, energetic, rides like the Viper. Sora remembered when they were eleven, Kairi had wanted to go surfing, but the waves looked really rough. So Sora smiled at her and went to the Secret Place, a hidden cave at the base of a huge oak. There he carved Kairi a surfboard and engraved the words: K AND S FOREVER. When she saw this, she laughed and held his hand. He had just smiled back at her as they walked together on the beaches of their home, Destiny Islands. Sora had never actually told her this, but he really wanted Kairi to kiss him. It had been in his dreams about her when they are walking together, he wasn’t sure where, she had said this: “ Maybe it’s destiny, but…” and then his dreams would end with a vivid picture of them kissing. Then, the ride ended without Sora noticing, so Kairi put her warm hand on Sora’s. Shocked, Sora smiled at her and got off the ride.”Kairi, there’s something I have to tell you.” Said Sora. Kairi looked at Sora. “ Yeah, umm… uh… would you…I mean…would I …” Sora stammered. “You want me to kiss you, don’t ‘cha, Sora?” said Kairi. Sora nodded. So Kairi did. She grabbed Sora’s shoulders with her warm hands, Sora grabbed her waist, and they got closer, closer, closer…
Sora sighed and fainted. Kairi giggled and helped him up. His wish had come true.
It couldn’t have happened. It could not have just happened. That miserable boyfriend wannabe couldn’t have just kissed her! Riku hung his head in shame and felt his nostrils flare. He shook it off and chuckled to himself.” Not that I need her anymore.” He said to himself, not noticing who was at the doorway. Riku talked to himself a lot now, talking about people always calling him a sorry, blind, jerk. But he paid them no mind. He was smart enough to know he wasn’t blind. Although sorry and being a jerk were 2 things he couldn’t argue about. For he knew he was a sorry sight, for he looks at himself in the mirror a lot. And being a jerk, well, he thought everyone knew that, so no reason to explain it.” It’s that stupid, icky blindfold, isn’t it?” said a familiar voice. “ Axel?” said Riku. “ The 1 and only.” He said. Riku chuckled. “ You know too much, know that?” said Riku. “ You can’t know too much!” Axel laughed. “ But you know who really knows too much?” Riku raised his eyebrows {though Axel probably didn’t see} in interest. “ That kick- butt friend of yours!!” said Axel, laughing.” Or at least… my so- called friend.” Said Riku.
Kairi giggled. “ Wanna go on another ride, Sora?” she asked. Sora nodded. That was all he could do right then and there. He was still recovering from shock. Kairi giggled and said, “ C’mon, Sora, lets go on the Armageddon!”Sora nodded. “Be right there!!!!!” he called after Kairi.
“Sora!!!! I don’t believe it!!! I just don’t believe it!!” shouted Kairi. “ We’ve just won $1,000,000.00!!” said Kairi. “ Huh?” said Sora. He rushed over to Kairi. They jumped up and down in excitement. “Cool!!!” said Sora. They hurried over to the Twilight Town Mall. “ Aww, Kairi, let’s get the foam Keyblade!!” said Sora. Kairi smiled at Sora. “ Can’t we get the plush moogle?” said Kairi. “ We’ll get them both!!!” said Kairi. “ I mean, we do have a million dollars.” Said Kairi. But when they tried to buy them, the cashier said “This isn’t real money.” Kairi looked at him in shock.” But…but… it said…” she stammered. “ Shut up, girly.” Said the cashier. Sora grew angry with the cashier as Kairi started to cry. He drew out the Keyblade and slashed the cashier across the arm. Then they left the mall in a dash.
Sora and Kairi got home to Destiny Islands late that day. It was most likely 10:00 pm. “ Sora, I wanted to thank you for a breathtaking time today.” Said Kairi. Sora smiled at her. “No, thank you, Kairi.” Said Sora. He still remembered the kiss. Kairi laughed. Her short red hair brushed Sora’s shoulder as she walked by him. Sora felt pretty exhausted. He struggled to keep his eyes open…
Sora was fighting darkness. This wasn’t like any other dreams he had had before. He was in the water, fighting against thrashing waves.Sora woke up gasping.” Whew.” Said Sora.” Just a dream.”Sora tried to remember what his dream was about. His head hurt. “Sora!!” called Kairi from outside his house. Sora looked out his window. He waved at Kairi. “ Coming!!!” said Sora. He raced outside to Kairi.” What took you?” she asked him. Sora smiled at her.
Riku shook his head. He laughed to himself as he said,” Sorry, blind, jerk, huh?” Earlier today, he had kidnapped Rie, a cashier at Twilight Town. “ So, you kidnapped Rie?” said Axel. “ Like I said, you know too much.” Said Riku. “She was my sister.” Said Axel. Riku raised his eyebrows. “ Fine, go get her. She’s in the back room. “ he said. Axel rolled his eyes. “ Geez” he muttered.” What’s a guy gotta do to get some respect around here?”
“ Ahhhh!!!!” someone was screaming. Was it Kairi? Yes! It’s her! “ Kairi!!!” called Sora. “ Help, Sora!!” said Kairi. “ I’m coming, Kairi!!” Sora had to yell over the roar of the wind. When he got to Kairi, she had been knocked out by the Heartless, who were still swarming around her like hungry tigers. “ Kairi!!” yelled Sora. The wind picked up. Sora held onto a broken board until he was swept up by the wind.
“ Uh… what?” Sora mumbled. He opened his eyes and looked around. “ I’m in another world!” he said. “ Sora!” someone said. Sora turned to his right, where the voice came from. “ Kairi!!” he said. Kairi rushed to him. “ What happened?” she asked him. “ I don’t know.” Said Sora. “ We were just out on the island when-“ “ Ahhh!” screeched Kairi. She ran away faster than light. “ Kairi!” Sora called after her.
Kairi was still running when she bumped into someone. “ Hey, watch it, you!” said the girl.” S- sorry.” Said Kairi. Then the Heartless had finally caught up to her. “ Is that what you were running from?” asked the girl. Kairi nodded. The girl slashed the Heartless and they went away, but more came. 1 ran right at Kairi…
Kairi woke up somewhere in Traverse Town. Or was she in Traverse Town at all? “ Hi, I’m Roxas.” Said a boy. “ Are you o.k?” he said. Kairi nodded. “ Where are we, Sora?” said Kairi. “ I’m Roxas.” Said the boy. “ O.k., Roxas.” “ We’re in Twilight Town.” Said Roxas. “ My home? “ said Kairi. “ Roxas.” She murmured. “ I know you! I’ve known you since I was 3!” she said. “ I’m home!” Said Kairi.
“ Ha-ha. Riku the Great had the kindness enough to – what’s this? Bring his girlfriend to her home? “ Axel said. “ You love to taunt me, don’t you?” Riku replied.” Specify Taunt “ said Axel. Riku shook his head, but couldn’t help laughing.
“ Genie, come out!” shouted Aladdin. He was a first- timer with Genie’s lamp, so don’t be too critical. “ Huh, w- where am I? Who are you?” Said Sora. I’m Aladdin.” Said Aladdin. “ Screeeh!!” said his monkey. “ Oh, this is my pet, Abu.” He said. “ Hi, I’m Sora.” Said Sora. “ Hi, Sora.” Said Aladdin. He seemed friendly. “ Hey, do you know how to work this lamp?” he asked. Sora shook his head no. “ O.K. “ said Aladdin. “ Genie, come on out!” he shouted again.
Riku laughed harder than he had ever laughed. “ Genie, come out.” He said in a mocking voice.
“ Never in my life have I seen such rare material!” said Genie as he felt Sora’s red jean jacket. “ Oh, you can get this stuff any where.” Said Sora.
“ You might want to wish for this stuff, Al!” said Genie. Aladdin had finally got him out. The genie was blue, and nothing but blue. “ Where’s Kairi?” Sora muttered impatiently.
“ Roxas, this place has changed so much!” Kairi said. “ This isn’t your home, girl.” He said heatedly. “ You hothead!!!!” said Kairi.
Sora blinked. Where am I? he thought to himself. It hurt him even to think in this world. “ Kai-“ he called, but was interrupted by a bloodcurdling scream. He looked at where the scream came from. It was some kind of monster thing, green and yellow with rivers of spit. “ Where’s my body?”
Said the monster in a crafty rough voice. “ Riku!” Sora caught himself yelling.
“ I need my body!!” said the banshee again. The banshee moaned and screeched constantly. Sora’s head burned like fire. He wriggled around, trying to make it stop…
Sora looked around. Was he dead? “ Sora!!” cried Kairi. “ I’ve found you!” she said. Sora couldn’t speak. “Kairi do you think the islands will always be here?” said Sora.” Maybe, maybe not.” She replied. “ I sure hope they will.” He said.Kairi just grinned at him and said, “ Sora, don’t ever change.” They both walked on the islands together like they did when they were so, so young.
After that, Kairi and Sora got separated many other times, but the islands stayed right there. They had many adventures and received many thanks for their deeds. We managed to save this one:
Sora-
Thank you so much for all you and Kairi have done for my hometown. How could I ever repay you? With you as the Keyblade wielder we in Twilight Town have nothing to fear. Rie is home with her disgrace of a brother, Axel. It’s a shame he got to be like that. He used to be so good with communicating to people. You could call him a people person, though it’s hard to believe. Cid needs to be thanked for his excellent repair skills also. Hope to see you next struggle battle!
