Traitors!

Disclaimer: Everyone knows this part but I’ll do it anyway. I do not own final fantasy 10 or any of the characters.

The story starts just after the group have killed Maester Seymour and Yuna has closed his eyes. Obviously this is not what really happened but it’s not supposed to be.

The noise coming from deep in the temple had worried Tromell. He couldn’t let anything happen to Maester Seymour and his soon-to-be-bride, lady Yuna. He gathered the best of the Guado elite guards excluding two who had gone with the lord and lady Yuna. The cloister of trials had been left complete which was good, he could get there quicker.

 Meanwhile Yuna and most of the others were in shock, why did it have to come to this. Wakka had feinted and Lulu somehow was the only one who stayed calm she stood in a corner surveying the scene before her. Yuna was crouched over the body of Seymour; Auron was shaking his head slowly, Tidus kept muttering to himself: “I knew he was a jerk.” He said it over and over. Rikku was standing in another corner with her head bowed. Suddenly the warning the Guado at the door to the temple had given them. Rikku would be held responsible for anything bad that happened which was discrimination in her eyes.

Suddenly Tromell and many guards burst through the door. Needless to say he knew what happened straight away except on important detail, Seymour had started it. All he knew was that the young summoner and her guardians had killed the beloved maester. Tromell and one of the guards carried out the body; he ordered the others to take the offenders to the dungeon. He remembered how much he objected to the dungeon below the temple but now he knew why he was wrong.

They were all put in separate cells so they would not be able to converse. Tidus was angry. “That bastard, Seymour, even dead he bugs me!” He yelled into space. They were all chained up, with their backs forced against the slimy walls. Yuna was crying, she had the perfect plan, but it all went astray. Lulu was her normal quiet self and Wakka was still unconscious but they had chained him so he was standing up. Auron was pulling at the chains hoping they would give, Rikku was also knocked out as the guards hit her because she was an al behd and tried to escape. The next day they were taken out to stand trial. Tromell took the place of the plaintiff as Seymour was not able to because of obvious reasons. They were to be seen separate.

 They all waited outside the courtroom. A guado came out and called Rikku in. She kicked him as hard as she could where it hurt. While he was on the floor she ran off. Tromell came out to see what was going on. He obviously could not go against her so he dragged Yuna in.

Halfway through her trial things were looking bad. Then suddenly a guado stood up and told them that she saw what happened and Seymour had attacked Yuna first. Yuna wanted to stop him and the others were following the sacred code of the guardian. She quoted part of it “protect the summoner even at cost of ones life.” The judge ruled against this guado so she threw an al behd smoke bomb and soon she and the summoner was gone. They ran out to drag the rest in together. They were gone, they could here the voice of the woman guado, “See ya, suckers!” It was then when they recognised the voice; it was a guardian, that damn Al behd.

They had escaped and Tromell vowed to capture them as he knew the maester was evil, he was himself. He actually wanted Seymour dead, he was jealous; he wanted to marry lady Yuna. He experienced a thrill when the al behd attacked, he actually held her hand but she ditched him to fight the machina. His daydream was interrupted by a dagger flying through the air. The last thing he felt was pain. The last thing he thought of was her, Yuna.

Yuna and the gang were already in Moonflow. They were riding a shoopuf. That’s where Yuna and Tidus shared their first kiss. It was love. With Seymour and the guado behind them they could look forward to a life together.
