One Fine Day

One fine day at the beach.On a sunny and hot weekend, a group of girlfriends drive up, and pick a spot on the crowded beach. A blonde-haired life guard and his orange-haired friend are sitting in the lifeguard tower watching for any little kids who have gone out too far in the ocean.
 
The friends names are Yuna, Lulu, and Rikku. And the two lifeguards; Titus and Wakka watch them as they cruise onto the hot sand.
 
Yuna: It's hot outside, I cant wait to hit the water.
Rikku: You're right yunie, my feet are on fire!
Lulu: Come on you two, lets just find a good spot on the beach, there are so many people here.
 
Titus and Wakka are over at the tower looking through their binoculars, when they spot the group of girls.
 
Tidus: Wakka, do you know any of those girls?
Wakka: Nope, but by the time I come back I will!
 
Wakka walks over to the girls and starts talking to them.
 
Wakka: Hello ladies, I am Wakka! Me and my friend Titus over there are the lifeguards at this beach. So, you know if you ever need anything, we'll be just over there. (points to lifeguard tower)
Lulu: Well, Wakka, we will be here is YOU ever need anything. (laughs along with group.)
 
Lulu: Well, you guys can hit the waves, while im gonna sit out here until one of those lifeguards come back and make a fool of himself.
Yuna: I think that im gonna stay too...and...um..tan or something. (looks towards lifeguard tower.)
Rikku: Yunie...Yunie...Yunie..your blushing, like you do when your see a cute lifeguard...but you've never seen a cute lifeguard, so whatever!
Yuna: I don't know what you talking about Rikku, just go into the water and find a jellyfish to play with!
Rikku: Jelly, Jelly, Jelly, fiiiissshhhh...
 
Wakka: I dunno know about this lifeguard thing, I cant stop looking at that girl! But we have to watch out for little kids.
(little kid screams for help)
Tidus: Duty calls!
 
Tidus runs out to the ocean and dives in the water. He swims about 50 meters, where a small kid is drowning. "Hang on kid, you'll be back on land soon enough!" Yuna sees him, along with Rikku, and Lulu.
 
Yuna: ah....umm...wow!
Rikku: Whatcha lookin at Yunie!
Yuna: umm...nothing, just the waves...and...umm...the people?
Rikku: Theres only a lifeguard and a little kid...which are you lookin at?
Lulu: Rikku, why don't you shut your oversized mouth and lock it up. Here I'll take the key, and gladly lose it for you.
Rikku: Hmph! (starts running into the water)
 
Tidus returns the kid to his family and walks back towards the lifeguard tower, passing the girls on his way. Yuna and him exchange glances only for a second, and then blush secretly to themselves.
 
Yuna: (whispering to herself) Hi, I'm Yuna...nice to meet you...you, um...are a good swimmer...and a good lifeguard...
 
Tidus: (whispering to himself) Hey, I'm Tidus...nice to meet you...so, do you come...to the beach...a lot...
 
Tidus: (to Wakka) Hey, man, I caught this girls eye, and you know, I think that im gonna go down there and talk to her.
Wakka: Woa...your not leaving me to watch some little kids get hurt, while you're gaming on some hot chick. I wanna game on a chick too!!
 
Yuna: Lulu, I saw that blonde lifeguard on the beach, and I think that he saw me too. Should I go talk to him?
Lulu: Yuna, my young naive friend, you let the boys come to you! Just lay here and look sexy for your little lifeguard boyfriend ok?
Yuna: Well, how do I do that...wait...WHAT!
Lulu: hahaha...I knew you would like that little tip. But, seriously, you have to just be yourself, and if he cant accept you as that, then he's not worth your time.
Yuna: Ok, thank you Lulu, your a true friend, but you have a weird sense of humor! Haha...
 
Tidus: Ok, man here I go, wish me luck!
Wakka: Ok, I hope you fall on your face, bud! (in a funny sarcastic way)
 
Tidus starts to walk towards the water, and the girls spot on the sand. He stops short, takes a deep breath...and walks up trying to act cool.
 
Tidus: ( to himself) Hi...Hey...WUZ UP! I'm Tidus...I AM TIDUS...Tidus is the name, lifegaurding is the game!
Yuna: Here he comes!
Tidus: Hi im Tid...ahh...oof!
 
Tidus trips over a shovel and gets a mouthful of sand. Yuna and Lulu laugh quietly, trying to be discrete.
 
Tidus: (spits out sand) Umm...I'm Tidus?
Lulu: Some entrance!
Tidus: Well I like to mix it up, you know, I mean would you remember what's-his-name who came up to you on the beach, or would you talk about Tidus, the lifeguard who fell flat on his face and got sand all in his mouth?
Yuna: hahahahaha
Lulu: hahahahaha
Tidus: Personally, I would probably call the cute sandy-mouth boy from the beach, but hey that's just me, right?
Yuna: Well, sandy-mou...uh, I mean...Tidus, I would probably call-
Rikku: Yunie! You're actually talking to that cu-
 
Lulu runs up to Rikku and covers her mouth, as she whispers to her "shut up, they WERE bonding!" Rikku takes Lulu's hand off her mouth, and winks at Lulu! 
 
Rikku: Oh, I see! Righty-o!
Yuna: Sorry, about my cousin, she's a little, um (whispering) crazy!
Tidus: Well, she kinda set it off, when she said Righty-o. I mean, who says that who isnt a little, koo-koo, right?
Yuna: Yea, really.haha!
 
Yuna and Tidus become absorbed in deep conversation about eachother, and their lives. Rikku, and Lulu, were at the lifegaurd tower talking to Wakka.
 
Wakka: So, your Lulu and your Rikku, right?
Lulu: Uh-hu, stud!
Rikku: Yep!
Wakka: Lulu, you doing anything on, say, Friday night?
Lulu: Not to my knowledge, why, am I going to do anything on Friday night?
Wakka: Yes, you are!
Rikku: Thats ok, I was...um... busy on Friday anyways...
 
Rikku walks out onto the beach just in time to watch the sunset just behind the water. Wakka and Lulu were up at the top of the tower watching the beautiful picture-perfect scene. While Yuna and Tidus sit on the towel holding hands, in the shadow of the sinking sunset.
 
Rikku: Yunie, I'm not feeling too good, I mean you have Tidus and Lulu has Wakka and I have...nobody!
 
A football flys past Rikku almost hitting her, and knocking her over onto the sand.
 
Rikku: Hey watch it, i'm trying to sulk over here!
A guy: O, sorry to interupt your "sulking", but what would a gorgous young-woman like you be sulking about? Hi, I'm Gippal! Me and some of my buds are playing some beach football over there, wanna join my team, we're missing the quarterback?
Rikku: Well, umm I dont really play sports, but what the hey. I give 10 million gil to anyone who can take me down! Bring it on boys!
 
Yuna and Tidus looks over to see a huge smile spreading  across Rikku's face.
 
Yuna: That problem is solved!
Tidus: Now, where were we, oh, yea, I was staring at the most beautiful thing on the face of the earth.
 
Staring at Yuna's face.
 
Yuna: haha! (blushes)
Tidus: Come with me, there is a secret on this part of the island that only the lifegaurds know about!
Yuna: Oh, yea, what luck!
 
Tidus leads Yuna away from the dark beach and onto a secluded spot on the beach, surrounded by rock, and water. Tidus pulls a box of matches from his pocket, and makes a small fire in the middle on the sand.
 
Yuna: haha, I feel like im in the girl scouts again!
Tidus: Well, the evening's not over yet!
 
Tidus sits down by the fire and Yuna joins him.
 
Tidus: You're eyes are so beautiful! It looks like the fire is dancing inside them, as the moon reflects their natural colors.
Yuna: Well, your eyes..are nice too.
Tidus: Thanks, nobody has ever called my eyes nice before.
 
Their faces move towards eachother as if they were magnets. Meanwhile, back at the lifegaurd tower, Lulu and Wakka are looking through their binoculars down onto a secret spot on the beach.
 
Wakka: What's that light?
Lulu: What?
Wakka: I see a light, a fire, maybe.
Lulu: Oh, yea, and who are those two...ahhh!
Wakka: Thats my boy Tidus, out there!
Lulu: You go Yuna!
 
Wakka and Lulu, consume the thought of Yuna and Tidus together. They start talking, laughing, and bonding about their friend's new-found romance. Meanwhile, at the actual scene of this "new-found romance" Yuna and Tidus draw closer to eachother as the night progresses.
 
Tidus: Wait, Yuna. Are you sure that you want to do this, i mean we just met on the beach a few hours ago.
Yuna: I know, this is new to me too, but it feels so right, and I have to follow my heart on this one. We may have known eachother only a few hours, but to me it feels like weeks. 
Tidus: I understand comepletly, and feel the same way, I mean i know about your friends, your family, and your hobbies. I've memorized every line in you face, your beautiful eyes, and your poutly lips and you wonderful smile that I just cant tear my eyes away from.
Yuna: Tidus, your so sweet, and I know that I will never tire of your never-ending compliments and wonderful soul.
Tidus: This is-
Yuna: shhhh...
 
The silhouets Yuna and Tidus change from two to one, as their lips touch in a neverending bliss. They dont part their lips untill the first kiss is absolutly perfect, and after their souls separate to two beings they reunite for the second kiss.
 
Yuna: I..feel..
Tidus: I know
 
They show their true feelings by coliding for a third kiss, and fourth. Their friendship was now much stronger and their bond was as thick as love. The dancing fire edged them on anlong with the cool breeze and the sound of the waves crashing. It was the perfect scene for new love to blossom into lasting love. Although they had only known eachother for one day, one beautiful day, they found their souls on that one day. They became connected in a way that they couldnt even explain, their heart, souls and lips were all connected through a powerful force, brought on by love, and trust. They had put their hearts on the line, and never taken them off because they didnt have to, and as long as this connection lasted their hearts would remain on the line. They would remain totally exposed, but together, and together was better than appart. 
 
Tidus: I hope that we can spend more time together, and get to know eachother better. Because I can already tell that I have found a good thing. And my dad always said once you find a good thing, never let it go. So thats what I'm going to do, well not going to do, I'm not going to let you go.
Yuna: I knew the minute that our eyes met, the minute that I saw you, the minute that you tripped over that shovel and made a fool of yourself that I wanted to get to know you better, and I have, and I will.
 
Wakka and Lulu, had just taken one last peek through their binoculars just as Yuna and Tidus had started to kiss. Wakka looked at Lulu at the same time that she looked at him. Their eyes met and in a dead stare they became magnets just as Yuna and Tidus had not just moments ago. Their bodies become hidden from any sight as the light turned off in the tower. But, they were still in sight, just shadows instead of actual figures. On that night four people had found their soulmates, their "other half" their destiny, and their dreams all in one. Tidus and Yuna had found more love on that night than some people would find in a lifetime. But Rikku had also found her love, her passion, football. The man of her dreams came with the package, Gippal. Tidus and Yuna put out the fire, and walked back to the beach. Lulu and Wakka turned on the lights and walked back to the beach. Rikku and Gippal took off their football jerseys and walked back to the beach. They were all there at the same time, the same place, the same people, but somehow different, changed. they all had something new in their lives but brought back the old.
 
Tidus: Yuna, we've known eachother for less than 24 hours, yet my heart has told me something about you that i cant ignore. Yuna, you're perfect, wonderful, and those are only two reasons why I love you!
Yuna: I have to trust my heart on this one too, I have to trust my soul, and I have to trust someone else's soul. Your soul, and I have to say that I love you too.
Rikku: ahh...Yunie! Tidus seems perfect, but Gippal can play football! And now I can too! Yah!
Gippal: Hi, i dont know any of you guys but i can play football! And now Rikku can too! Yah!
Wakka: Hey Lulu, I mean we havent gone out for pizza on Friday yet and I already like you a lot. I dont want to rush things and say that I love you when i dont. At least not yet, i want to be able to be honest and tell that i love you when I really do.
Lulu: I understand and I appreciate you being honest with me. And the truth is that I dont really love you either, but I want to, and eventually I know that I will.
 
Tidus: Everyone, I think that we can all agree that this was the best day of all of our lives, I mean we fell in love, learned how to play football, and found our soulmates. That, in my book, qualify's as the best day of our lives. So lets celebrate!
 
Everyone runs into the ocean and shouts in joy of their wonderful day!
