Yuna's POV
I stood on top of the ship. We were approaching Besaid to see Wakka and Lulu's new baby. I didn't find him all that for nothing only to gain a new friend Paine and to learn a story of Lenne and Shuin. Shuin the man I thought was him but wasn't. The wind brushed my hair in the wind gently then all of a sudden I heard a whistle coming from the water it sounded just like him, the one I was looking for all of this time. I leaned down to see if it was him. It was him. I ran down to the deck to tell them, I ran as fast as I could.
"Rikku it's him look, at last I've found him." Said Yuna a tear began to roll down her face.
"I know, Shinra make the ship land on Besaid beach." Said Rikku
"No problem." Said Shinra.
The ship began to land. It shocked him a bit but I'm not surprised because he wouldn't know the ship. The ship lift opened and I jumped down as this ship landed. He was there I ran into his arms at last all these nights that I could never hold and hear his sweet voice were finally over.
"Is it really you." said Yuna
"Yeah." Said Tidus
Yuna looks at him.
"So.?" said Tidus
"Hmm." Said Yuna "Your back."
"I'm back." Said Tidus
"Welcome back." Said Yuna
We embraced I hoped it would last forever
Wakka, Lulu and the villages appeared on the shore. Lulu was holding Vidina.
"Hey! If you guy's want to cuddle go somewhere else." Said Wakka
"Leave us alone!" said Tidus
Wakka and Lulu laughed.
Tidus grabs Yuna's hand and the run to the shore. Yuna over takes Tidus.
"You've changed." Said Tidus
"That's because many things have happened." Said Yuna
"I want to know more about it." Said Tidus
"Okay" said Yuna
It all started when we found a sphere containing your image.
Yuna's POV.
We ran over to Wakka and the villagers who were all really happy. They were mainly happy at the fact I'd saved Spira for the second time. I hadn't done it on my own though if my friends weren't there by my side I don't think I would have done it. They were also were happy because I was happy. Rikku and Paine came down from the airship as well. We had a big party in Besaid people celebrating, cheering and everything else you can think about. Tidus was happy that Lulu and Wakka were married and have a child called Vidina. I introduced all the new people I knew except Baralia, Gippal and Nooj we would see them later at least I think so. Paine didn't know who Tidus was so I introduced her first.
"So you're the guy that Yuna can't stop talking about, I'm Paine nice to meet you." said Paine
"Nice to meet you too Paine." Said Tidus.
"You from Zanarkand Yuna told me a lot about you." said Paine
"Talking about me what like." Said Tidus as he looked at Yuna
"Most things but I think there is more I don't know about you." said Paine
"There are still things I don't know about Tidus but now he's back I can find out more." Said Yuna
"Anyway I've got to go Brother wanted to talk to me about something." Said Paine
"Okay I'll see you around then Paine." Said Tidus
"Remember tomorrow Yuna were off to Bevelle." Said Paine
"I won't forget." Said Yuna
Paine went to the Celsius to go and talk to Brother while me and Tidus started to walk towards the beach to join the party that was celebrating me saving Spira together.
"Why are we going to Bevelle tomorrow?" Said Tidus
"Remember me telling you about the three forces, Young alliance, machina faction and new Yevon." Said Yuna
"Yes, didn't you make them all join together." Said Tidus
"Yes I did with Rikku and Paine anyway where of to see the leaders of those three forces." Said Yuna
"Are so you can introduce them to me." Said Tidus
"Of course and also there is something they have to discuss with us." Said Yuna
"You seem to have grown more busy over the years." Said Tidus
"I know I suppose I had to keep my mind of you when you weren't with me." Said Yuna
"You don't need to anymore then do you." said Tidus he kissed me softly on the lips.
"No I don't I suppose." Said Yuna "But I still have to deal with Spira now I'm messed up in it all."
"Maybe you shouldn't they might take advantage of you." said Tidus
"But you won't let them will you." said Yuna
"Of course I won't." said Tidus
We danced the night away even thought Tidus wasn't that good at it but at least he tried. Rikku was also dancing mad too but Paine she just sat there watching us.
"How come you got so good at dancing Yuna?" said Tidus
"With a bit of practice from a dress sphere." Said Yuna
"The songstress dress sphere?" said Tidus
"Yeah, it helped Rikku and Paine to learn to dance too." Said Yuna
"It seems to have an effect on Rikku but not on Paine." Said Tidus
"She's not a person that likes to dance." Said Yuna
Rikku bumped into Tidus as she was dancing too fast.
"Hey there what you two love birds talking bout." Said Rikku
"Dancing." Said Yuna
"I know it's fun isn't it, it makes you feel all of your troubles just disappear." Said Rikku
"What troubles?" said Yuna
We began to walk over to where the people weren't dancing
"That Gippal he's said something to my pops that isn't true." Said Rikku
"About you two?" said Yuna
Tidus began to laugh. "Rikku's got a boyfriend." Said Tidus
"He's not my boyfriend I hate him." Said Rikku
"So what's he said he's your boyfriend to Cid." Said Tidus
"Yeah and the thing is my dad hates him and so do I, so when I see him I might get a mouthful of him when it isn't even true." Said Rikku
"We'll make sure Uncle Cid doesn't do anything bad to you because we know your not boyfriend and girlfriend." Said Yuna
"Thanks Yunie." Said Rikku
"No problem." Said Yuna
"Hey want to see Vidina she's so cute." Said Rikku
"Okay." Said Tidus
We went to Lulu who was holding Vidina.
"Finally stopped dancing have you?" said Lulu
"Yeah, we came to see how you a little Vidina are." Said Rikku
"That's kind of you." said Lulu
"She looks a bit like Wakka with the ginger hair." Said Yuna
"I never knew you and Wakka would be married and have a child." Said Tidus
"I suppose most people didn't because we were opposites but opposites do go well together." Said Lulu
"That's true but is it because he's C...” Said Tidus. Rikku then put her hand over his mouth.
"Because he's the Captain of Besaid Aurochs" said Rikku
"You needed not do that Rikku I know you don't want me to be sad but maybe it is that reason." Said Lulu
"But you've been friends for years maybe that brought you together." Said Yuna
"Strong friendships most of the time it could be that reason." Said Lulu
Wakka came walking up to them.
"Hey there, come to see our little Vidina eh?" said Wakka
"Yeah she's a lot like you Wakka with the ginger hair." Said Tidus
"But when she grows up I bet she will be like Lu ya." Said Wakka
"Why do you think so." Said Yuna
"Most girls grow up like there mothers it's just natural." Said Wakka
"I suppose she won't be a lazy slob then will she." Said Rikku as she nudged his stomach
"Hey I'm not lazy." Said Wakka
"Whatever Wakka." Said Rikku
we talked most of the night it got late so we stayed in Besaid in the Inn. We walked there with Tidus close by my side. I feel more protection when he's with me.
"What a night, and all I had to do was re appear." Said Tidus
"I'm glad you did I really missed you." said Yuna
Tidus and I had our fingers intertwined as we walked.
"Me too I didn't want you to miss me anymore so I came back." Said Tidus
"I love you." said Yuna
"I love you too." Said Tidus
He kissed me it was short and passionate and I with it lasted longer. We went into the inn and we lay on the bed. My head rested on his chest with me arm also on his chest. To hear made me convicted he would stay but I just had to ask.
"Do you think you will ever disappear again?" said Yuna
"The faith made me real again so I suppose not." Said Tidus
"I don't want you to ever go again." Said Yuna
"I won't I promise." Said Tidus.
Paine's POV
Love, a thing I don't really want to get involved into yet. When you see people in love it makes you wonder will I be the next person to fall in love or will it be that girl over there. I felt that way when Yuna found her boy, Tidus. I mean I'm not the only one not in love there's Rikku, the thing is I have this feeling that her and Gippal will get back together some how. Then there will be poor little me all on my own. I decided to leave the party, as it was called, early I couldn't stand to watch the lovebirds anymore. So I told them that brother had to see me about something which of course I didn't, so I went to look around Besaid. It was quiet as all the people were all at the beach. I needed the quiet to get rid of the thought of love. A few people were heading back home into their huts as the night began to draw to it's end. I went back to the airship eventually to sleep.
"Had a good night Paine." Said Brother
"Not really only the two love birds making me feel sick." Said Paine
"I know how you feel." Said Brother putting on his sulky face.
"Yeah, I can't believe you actually loved your cousin in that kind of way." Said Paine "I feel more sick thinking about it."
"I suppose I am sick, maybe I should be happy for her and be a real cousin to her." Said Brother
"That will be a first!" said Shinra
"That will be a good idea." Said Buddy
"I'm of to sleep, if anyone else wants to know where I am just tell them." Said Paine
"Sure thing." Said Brother
I don't want to think about brother for a second, Yuna doesn't know about it and I hope to keep it that way we can't have her and lover boy giving the shots now can we. Brother is just a weird boy anyway I'm not surprised he has never had a date with a girl. I went into my room on the ship and went to sleep thinking about something that cropped into my head. Baralia I have no idea why he popped into my head. Do I like him or something? I can't stop thinking about this guy why? I think I'll go to sleep and try to get this guy out of my head.
Rikku's POV
Yunie and Tidus together again it makes me so happy. The Gullwings have done it again! I don't think Paine was too happy, well she was happy for Yunie but in herself you could just tell something was wrong with her. I suppose it's just Paine she's always like that so you learn to bare with it. It might have something to do with her past so I won't medal into it. So I got on with the night dancing away not thinking about anything else. Dancing makes me feel happy all of your worries just drift away. As if I have any worries anyway, apart from thinking that my dumb ass brother doing something dumb. I bumped into to Yuna and Tidus while I was dancing. We went to see Wakka and Lulu with the baby. Vidina is so sweet I love little kids. I grew up looking after babies. When your al bhed you end up working on machina of looking after Babies. I ended up doing both in the end. And if Wakka and Lulu need any help looking after her I'll always be there to help. When I had enough I went to the ship to go to sleep I didn't want to sleep in the hut as Yunie and Tidus were in here. So I went back to the ship and as usual Brother, Shinra and Buddy were still up.
"Don't you guy's ever sleep?" said Rikku
"Sleep, what's the point of it I say you might as well has stay up and do research." Said Brother.
"About what we've got all the spheres in Spira." Said Rikku
"Well maybe something else will come up ya know." Said Buddy
"Chances of that is 0 to 1." Said Shinra
"At the moment where staying her until Yunie figures out what to do." Said Rikku
"Okay." Said Brother
"I'm off to sleep I'm proofed, see ya tomorrow." Said Rikku
I don't think I'm going to dance like that again my legs are basically killing me. I walked past Paine's room she seemed to be in there asleep. It's a bit unusual that Paine's asleep before me. But like I said I don't medal in her problems I only medal in my own and my family's problems which mot of the time will involve me anyway. So I walked along the corridor to my room, then suddenly I heard some kind of noise. It sounded like someone was trying to get into the ship. Paine woke up at the sound as well she was still in her normal clothe for some reason
"What was that?" Said Paine
"It sounds like something or someone wants to get in here." Said Rikku
"Hold on while I get my sword and we'll see to this." Said Paine
A/n: I had to end it there for some reason. What will happen next? Will Rikku and Paine find out what the noise is? Will brother and co figure out that something is trying to get in? And will Yuna figure that something is wrong. Well I can't tell you find out in the next chapter. Which will have all three POV's
Yuna's POV.
I was so tired after all that dancing I must have fallen asleep. I always keep
opening my eyes every few minutes to see if he was still there. I couldn't bare
him to disappear again it would brake my heart so. He was still there and he was
still awake.
"You checking I’m still here again.” Said Tidus
"I don't want you to disappear again." Said Yuna
"Don't worry I’ll stay with you always like I promised two years ago.”
said Tidus as he softly kissed my cheek.
I still didn't want to believe that he wouldn't go away but maybe I should. Maybe after a few years to prove that the fayth doesn't want him to disappear again. I must have gone back to sleep for a while, then all of a sudden there some crashing noise which woke me up.
"What was that noise" said Yuna
"I don't know but maybe we should check it out” said Tidus as he grabbed
his Galedbloge.
I quickly got up and grabbed my tiny bees and went to Investigate.
Rikku's POV.
Paine and I carried running down the bridge and up to the lift to get of the airship. We had no idea where "The Thing" was but we looked around.
"Look sharp Rikku it could be anywhere.” said Paine
"Sure thing." said Rikku
I could hear the fiend but I sure couldn't see it!
"There in the buses" said Rikku
A giant fiend came out a jumped right in front of Paine.
"You want a piece of me well come and get it" said Paine
Paine struck first with her blade but I hardly did any damage to the fiend.
"If your weapon won't hurt it neither will mine." said Rikku
"Maybe if we attack together we might do a bit more damage to it." said Paine
We hit it time after time but not much happened but it was sure getting weaker.
Paine's POV
Dam this thing is just too hard to kill. I hope Yuna and her lover boy would get here and maybe we can do even more damage to this thing!
"We need Yunie at a time like this” said Rikku
"I know" said Paine
Then of course the two lovebirds came rushing in. It took them one time but at least they managed to finally come. Patience is not one of my strong points.
"Miss us?" said Tidus
"Never mind the talk lets beat this thing." said Paine
"Let’s go” said Yuna
We continued to attack it but it was then we realised that this fiend was way too much for us. I'm not a person that gives up easily and I still don't intend to be.
"We can't keep attacking this were gunna wear ourselves out." said
Rikku
"Stop your wining Rikku, what do we do just let this thing attack the village."
said Paine
"There must be some way to defeat this thing.” said Tidus
"If we can't defeat it by force we got to use something to help us beat It."
said Paine
"Well what about the Celsius?" said Yuna
"Yeah!" said Rikku
"Is there anyway we can contact brother though?” said Paine
We all stood there thinking.
"I'll take that as a no then.” said Paine
We were running out of ideas even though we didn't have many to start of with. All of our hopes we gone then out of the blue some person came down from a tree in the distance riding a chocobo. The person had a hood on so I couldn't make out his face but he sure looked like he knew what he was doing.
"Stand back and I’ll deal with this." said the hooded figure.
"Sure thing.” said Tidus
We all stood back out of the way while this hooded figure finished him of. I recognise his voice from somewhere but I can't place where from. He slashed back and forth his sword until he delivered the final blow. The thing was dead at last.
"Pretty impressive where'd you learn all those fancy moves from eh?"
said Rikku
"My father taught me them when I was a young child.” He said
Those moved looked familiar too. My father taught me some very similar moves when I was a child. Who is this guy?
A/n ill leave it there for now. In the next chapter you will find out who this guy is and more about him.
Yuna’s POV
That guy sure has some fancy moves kind of like Paine’s but much stronger. Paine doesn’t look too happy at this moment in time. Does she know this Guy? I mean she knows lots of things that we don’t know so maybe she knows something we don’t. If she does would she tell us? I think we should get to know this guy before we jump to any conclusions.
Rikku’s POV
I wonder about this. We get in trouble, this guy turns up then Paine is in total silence. I mean it’s nothing new but if she knew this guy she’d probably tell us or something. Maybe it’s her ex boyfriend or something. What am I saying she might not even know the guy?
Paine’s POV
Who is this guy? I keep asking myself the same question over and over again he certainly looks familiar but I just can’t work out who he is. I have to just ask his name. What harm can it do right?
“So then aren’t you going to introduce yourself?” I said
He looked at me in a kind of weird way.
“Of course!” he said “My name is Dane and you?”
It then struck me my brother name was Dane it can’t be him right????
I stood there in silence for a few seconds
“I’m Paine pleased to meet you” I said
He stood there for a few second I don’t know why
“Wait a sec your name is Paine?” said Dane
“That’s my name don’t wear it out” I said trying to keep my cool
“But that means…” said Dane
“Means what” said Rikku
“Is it bad?” said Yuna
“That you must be my sister!” said Dane
I stood there in shock how the hell could I be his sister so I had to ask.
“Tell me about your parents what happened to them” I said
I could see shock from Yuna and Rikku’s faces and Tidus he just stood there in utter confusion.
“My parents…they got killed by sin” said Dane “I saw it happen with my own eyes sin just swallowed them up”
It is him it must be he knows how my parent’s died. I need to know some more information. Maybe a fight to see if he knows the skills my father taught us when we were little.
“I don’t believe your lies if you are my real brother then you will know something none else knows I challenge you to a fight” I said
Yuna’s POV
What in Spira’s name is Paine doing. I know this is all complicated and all but fighting her own brother.
“Paine please don’t do this” I said
“I have to Yuna; if I don’t how will I ever know if he is my brother.” Said Paine
“There must be another way Paine” I said
“Yeah and It will tell me all day to find out another way” said Paine
“Well then if you have to fight your brother I will have no part in it.” I said as I began to walk away.
I couldn’t face to see a fight between families’s it just isn’t the way to go about things. Tidus soon followed me.
“Aren’t you gunna stop her?!” said Tidus as he stood in front of me.
“If she wants to fight her brother I can’t and won’t do anything to stop her!” I said
Rikku’s POV
Man a fight between a family I mean I know my pops and brother fight but not to this extreme. I sort of was with Yunie why fight you’re your own brother. But then again I’m with Paine if it’s the only way to find out if he’s your brother why not?
“If you want to fight your brother Paine I’m right here for ya” I said
“At least one Gullwing can understand” said Paine
“Hey! I’m not totally with you ya know” I said “I mean it isn’t right like Yunie said but if it’s the only way I understand”
“I’d just call it i don’t wanna fall out with my cousin stuff” said Paine
“Call it what you like! I just want this to be over okay” said Rikku
I had to turn away I couldn’t bear to see this happen.
“Ready! FIGHT !” I shouted
I could hear the clashing of swords and the sound of the dust being kicked about. I didn’t want to visualise it either.
Paine’s POV
I have to try some moves that my father taught me and see if Dane can block then. Wonder what to try. Ah the kimoto back slash my father’s favourite back hand sword move.
“Let’s see how you handle this move then Dane!” I shouted
“Sure thing!” said Dane
I began to power up my move then I used it on him. Within second I fell to the ground. He blocked it. He must be my brothers how else he could have blocked that move it’s impossible.
“Is that enough proof for you!” said Dane
“I suppose it’s just enough!” I said
He helped me to my feet.
“But i thought you had been killed by sin with mom and dad” I said
“A lot of people though the same too.” Said Dane “I knew you hadn’t been killed so all this time I’ve been searching for you.”
“Searching for your long lost sister how dramatic” I said
“Yeah kind of” said Dane
Rikku looked back at us.
“Everyone okay now” said Rikku
“Yeah you can get Yuna and tell her that I’ve found my brother!”
I said
