Only a kiss Away

Authors Note: This Story is about Rinoa and Squall. Selphie, Irvine, Zell
and Quistis are also in it. And others As well. I hope you really like it. I
love the title that's why I used it. It may be a little sad because I'm
listening to Yuna's Song while writing this. So it may get a little sad.If

A lonely black haired women lay in her bed curled up in a ball.

"Only Tears of Fate.Only Love awaits. My precious Fate." She said while
crying. She soon got up and looked out her window.
"Through Love or Fate? Will I awake from this nightmare? Or will it go on
Forever." She wiped a tear from her eye then lay back down on her bed. "I'm
sorry Squall.It.I'm.I should've protected you..." She said sniffing.

Suddenly they're was a bang on her door. "Come on Rinoa! Get up,Up,UP!" A
excited voice called out. Rinoa got up and opened the door. Making sure her
tears didn't show. "Hi Selphie." Rinoa Said Forcing a smile. "Rinoa, Are you
crying?" Selphie said frowning. "Why would I be crying? Hey, I'm hungry.
Lets go get some hotdogs before Zell Does." Rinoa smiled. Selphie smiled
back and the two walked out of the dorms. As They passed the Hospital,
Selphie could of Sworn she saw tears going down Rinoa's Cheek. Selphie was
just about to say something to Rinoa when Irvine Ran up to them.
"Sel..P..Phie! Ri..Rino.Rinoa!" He shouted. "Hey Girls, Whats up?" Irvine
said tipping his hat. "Hi Irvine." Rinoa said Smiling. "Hi Irvy." Selphie
said hugging him. When Rinoa saw this she tried hard to keep a straight
face. "Uhmm.Selphie, Irvine, If you don't mind. I left my money in my room.
I'll be right back." Rinoa Said and walked off. Rinoa Sneaked into the
hospital and while no one was looking, walked into one of the hospital
rooms. She sat down by a guy laying in a bed. "Squall.If you can hear me.
Please. Wake up, Oh say something, Please! Say.something." She said as she
slid down the bed and stuffed her hands in her face.

"Please, I.I'm sorry.I love you Squall.Please wake up. say something." She
said crying harder and harder. Suddenly the door opened making Rinoa head
fly up. "Whose there?!" She said, Being very protective at the moment.
Selphie walked through the door. "I knew it. I knew you loved him!" She
said. Shouting it out loud. "Selphie! Shhh! You were.Eavesdropping on me?!"
Rinoa said getting up immediately. "I won't tell anyone Rinoa, You're secret
safe with me. But hey, Were gonna miss lunch AND Class. So, come on."
Selphie Grabbed Rinoa's hand and ran out of the room. And with one more
second.Rinoa could've sworn she saw Squall move his head.

Later on, Rinoa and Selphie walked into the classroom together. Rinoa
decided to keep quiet. "Please Sit Down class, I will call your names one by
one. Once I say your name, Please say "Here" Thank you." Mrs. Lawrence Said.
As she looked at her paper. "Selphie Timlitt." "Here!" Selphie called out."
"Zell Dincht." "Here!" A voice said as a young boy flew through the door and
quickly sat down in his seat and gulped. The Teacher, and the kids, Stared
at him for a little while. "uhmm, Well, Yes. *Ahem* I will Continue. Rinoa
Heatilly." Silence. Dead Silence. "Rinoa Heatilly? Are you here?" Selphie,
Who was sitting by Rinoa, Shook her shoulder. "Hello, Earth to Rinoa!" She
whispered. "Oh, Here." Was Rinoa's response.

LATER ON! ^_^

Rinoa was sitting at the edge of the water fountain in the garden. She
looked at her reflection. "Only Tears of Fate, Only Love Awaits, My precious
Fate. Through Disaster and Through Love. To the Moon Above, Tell me, My
wishing star. Drop out of the sky like the tears from my eyes. Onto Him and
Please Heal his Wounds.Through Love or Fate, Will I ever awake from this
nightmare? Or will it go on forever?" She said, Until the loud speaker went
on. "Rinoa Heartilly, Please report to the hospital right away." The
Headmaster spoke. Rinoa, at the sound of "hospital" Ran out of the garden
and into the hospital. Once she got there. She saw Quistis, Selphie, Irvine,
and Zell Standing Infront of Squalls room. "Rinoa, Please, go in." Quistis
said opening the door. Rinoa slowly walked into the room, and Saw Squall
Sitting up in his bed. The door shut behind her. She burst out in tears and
ran up to him. "Squall! Squall! Your okay! Your not dead!!!" She shouted,
and gave him a gentle Hug. "I've missed your hugs Rinoa." Squall said
smiling weakly. "I've missed you." He said hugging the sweet girl back.
"I'm, So sorry for everything- I mean I just-." Rinoa was stopped by a
finger closing her lips. "Shh." He said. "Its all right, Everything is fine.
Calm down." Squall said smiling weakly again. "Squall, I need to tell you
something.I.I.I love you." She said crying. He smiled. "I love you, too." He
said getting closer to Rinoa. He leaned over, Their lips barely touching
when.

BAM!!! The door made a *Clicking* Sound. Like it just locked. And, It did.
"Hahhaa, Just because Seifer is no more, Doesn't mean we still aren't after
you, Ya know!" Raijin Said laughing. Rinoa Gasped. She ran to the door and
banged on it. "Let us out! Let us Out!" She cried. "The More you shout, The
more air you'll loose." Raijin said laughing again. As he walked off. "Oh
and, Don't worry, We took care of your pals too." He said as he walked away.
Rinoa slid down the door and cried. Squall got on his knee's and held Rinoa
in his arms. "Everything will be fine." He said rocking her. She felt safe
and secure. After awhile Squall got up weakly and grabbed his blade. He
rapidly swung at the door. It didn't open. It didn't break either. "Come,
ON! YOU, STUPID, DOOR!" He yelled. Finally he gave up. Rinoa sat on the bed,
Crying. "Squall, were going to die." Squall sat by her. "At least.We'll die
together." He mumbled.

A few hours later. Quistis (Who was tied up like the rest) Stood Up. "I've
got to do something!!!" She yelled. She found a pair of scissors. She
grabbed them with her hand. She cut Selphie's rope. Then she, continued
with the others. "Rinoa! Squall! I completely forgot!!!" Selphie screeched.
Selphie rain over to the door. "Open! Open! OPPPEEEENNNN!" She screamed
banging on the control switch and the door. She got out her Nun Chucks and
did a little shoot at the door. Still nothing. Soon everyone else tried.
Nothing! The door was stuck. Suddenly. Selphie, and the rest who were
crying. Slid down the door. She was beat up, scratched and injured. She once
more banged the door with her Nun Chucks.BOOM! The door opened! Something
Selphie hit opened the door! Everyone shot up. They ran into the room to
find.

CHAPTER TWO!
The short chapter.

Rinoa and Squall dead. Yes, That's right, DEAD! Or so they thought. They
burst into to tears, all of them. "No.Please no." Quistis said crying. "They
were so young, too." Irvine mumbled, "They were, so amazing." Zell said,
trying hard not to cry. "This isn't fair!" Was, you guessed it. What Selphie
said. Suddenly.Rinoa and Squall moved! "Rinoa!" Selphie cried out. "Squall!"
Quistis added. Everyone gave hugs. And so on and So on.

LATER AGAIN ^_^

Rinoa sat by the water fountain. "Thank you." She said looking at the stars.
Her head immediately turned to the stranger who was walking up to her. It
was squall. "Squall?" Rinoa said a little shaky. "Yeah?" He replied. Rinoa
Giggled. Squall sat by her. "Hey, Rinoa. Do you remember? About what we
said to each other?" Rinoa Gulped at the question. Her skin turned paler
then ever. She blushed. "Y..Y..Yes." She finally replied.
"I mean why wouldn't I remember, I mean.I uh.. Its hard not to remember, its
not like I didn't want to remember I remembered you and what I said like I
said I wouldn't not remember I mean I-." She was totally interrupted when
her lips got attacked by Squalls. They kissed and it felt like it was a kiss
that lasted forever. "Squall.." Rinoa mumbled. "I love you" She said. "I
love you too.." He replied.
