Leena stared into the sapphire waves of the deep, deep sea. How wonderous it was, how magestic and beautiful. If only....no...she shook her head her aubren hair catching in the wind and fluttering behind her like some kind of wildfire. Mother had told her numerous times not to dwell upon past loved ones. It wasn't good for her health or something like that...But that didn't matter she supposed. He would never come back...
"Serge....", she whispered her emerald eyes filling with tears. She tried to blink them away, but it was no use. No matter what she did she couldn't rid herself of the possibility.
"That stranger...he seemed so...so much like...like Serge...", she muttered under her breath glancing back at the small treehouse....Serge's old house...She let out a jagged sigh. What did it matter anyways, he probably just hit his head or something. It couldn't possibly be...him....after all this time. Closing her eyes she tried to remember a better time, a more happier time....
"Serge! Serge, what are you doing?", she laughed chasing him. He glanced back grinning.
"You'll see! Just follow after me!", he called running to the beach, their favorite hang out place. She followed feeling the warm sand under her barefeet. Finally he stopped and turned around, one hand behind his back. He's gonna throw a frog on me, she thought with a nervous smile.
"What do you have there?", she asked trying to see behind his back, but he turned so she couldn't.
"You'll see, Leena", he smiled sweetly his sapphire eyes gazing into her emerald, and for a moment the world stood still. Everything seemed to stop, to freeze. Her smile widened.
"Here...thought you'd like this...", he said handing her a bracelet of Komoda Dragon scales. Leena gasped in delight.
"It's beautiful! Thank you, Serge!", she exclaimed happily. He smiled, happy to see her reaction. She quickly put it on and sat in the soft, warm sand. Letting out a happy sigh she stared into the crystal waves.
"I love the sea...it's so tranquile and beautiful...don't you agree, Serge?", she asked gazing up at him with a smile. He nodded.
"Yeah, it's great", he said looking down back at her.
"Yeah it is...", she said......
Leena blinked realizing that it was dark. The moon's eerie yet wonderous glow played upon the gentle waves. With a heavey sigh she stood up the wind enveloping her dress.
"But what if it's true? What if it really is Serge...?", she asked the night, but recieved only silence...........
Her feet brushed the soft grass as she approached the tomb. Kneeling down she placed a single purple flower at his grave.
"Serge...i need you...I wish you were here....", she cried. Tears escaped from her fragile looking eyes.
"But i am here....", a voice said from behind. Turning around quickly she lost her balance, but immediatly she was saved by the arms of a boy. Her emerald eyes met his sapphire.
"S...Serge?", she asked. He nodded with a warm smile.
"Yes, it's me....I'm here now...", he said softly into her ear. She felt the tears began to come again as he held her close embracing her.
"I'll always be here for you...you don't have to be alone anymore...", he said softly, oh so softly.....
